[Chapter 1]"Lesson 1: Always read instructions."
*Facing my window looking at the big white moon hover in the sky, I feel laughter bubble up and come out. I get up and open my window leaning my torso out, stretching and flapping my arms like a bird about to take flight.
"Jump"
That was M.H. He's the one who showed me life could be so beautiful and exciting, although sometimes his ideas seem a little bizarre.
"You're out of your mind!"
"On the contrary my dear, you're the one who's losing their mind."
M.H. comes out of the shadows of my room and pushes me out of the window. The fall to the ground didn't take long but the slide down the rabbit hole I landed in seemed to take forever, with all kinds of twists and sharp turns. The bottom of this amusement park ride coming into view after a few minutes. I land on my feet, holding in the vomit that was threatening to spill out of my mouth.Looking around I noticed a table and some chairs were set up in the corner, there was also a dresser on one far wall and a bed right across from it. Everything about the room seemed to be normal except for two very unnormal facts. 1. This seemingly normal room was inside of a rabbits hole. 2. Everything was sized for a giant. Max looked around. Hoping to find something to help her get out of here.
Then, out of practically nowhere, a black rabbit, with one white ear, slid through the entrance and into the enormous room. He on the other hand was a regular sized bunny rabbit who happened to be wearing a red velvet vest and scrambling to check his pocket watch.
Mumbling to himself about being late to a Tea Party he was completely oblivious to energies presence."Um excuse me sir?"
Still oblivious and apparently not hearing energie, he hops along to the other side of the ginormous table energie following suite. On the other side of the table was a small door, much to small for max to fit through, but somehow big enough for the rabbit.
Walking up to the door energie looked for a door knob but found no such thing. So she did the next most sensible thing and knocked. A pair of eyes and a mouth suddenly appeared on the door and it began to speak.
"To get past me ye' must be 3 foot 3, but to get this small ye' must be 20 foot tall."
Great a fucking riddle. She looked around. 20 ft tall? How the hell was she supposed to accomplish that. Then it hit her. Literally. A small bottle of liquid with a note tied to it had fallen and hit her smack dab on the head. The note said "Drink me" and she had never been the type to stop and think things through carefully so she popped the cork and threw back the mysterious liquid.
She giggled. Feeling bubbly inside. Then the bubbles turning into tingles and soon the room started to spin and shrink, or maybe she was growing. All she knew was that her head was touching the ceiling and she could the top of the table now. It had one lone bottle of another mysterious liquid. This bottle also accompanying a note that said "Drink me" but there was a bit more warning to this one on the flip side. "Warning: drink near tiny door." Doing as told I picked the bottle up and scooted near the door the rabbit left out of. I took a big swig of the bile drink and this time the room grew as I shrank. When I was done shrinking I saw why the warning told me to drink it near the door. It looked like miles and miles on end from the table to here. Lesson 1: Always read the instructions. I turned and knocked on the door again this time it swung open and I quickly made my way inside not wanting to lose my chance to escape that retched room.
The next room wasn't a room at all but a beautiful green forest. Flowers of red and blue and purple grew everywhere and butterflies flew and birds chirped. The only odd thing about the forest being the long oak table in a clearing of trees. There were three people (well they weren't all people but we don't really have to get into those details yet) sitting at the table chatting about this and that. Then max noticed the black rabbit with the white ear hopping towards the tea table, and like before she followed him.
At the Tea table there was a very peculiar bunch. Only one man attended the party and he sat at the head at the table. On his right sat (or rather floated) a blue and purple striped cat with an abnormally large smile. On the man's left sat a caterpillar the size of Energie who was smoking a from bong. This made Energie giggle.
She looked back at the rabbit and saw checking his pocket watch and it read 56:11. The rabbit seemed pleased with this and proceeded to take his seat at the table. The Tea table was filled with various pastries and teas. Energie, walking along the table to talk to everyone about getting back home picked up a pastry and ate it. She took a few more steps and the world began to spin and wobble and the ground was ripped from underneath her. She lay on the ground, looking up at the sky noticing how the clouds were blue and the sky was white. Then everything just went black.
