Two

[Chapter two] "We're All Mad Here."

Max woke up to the sound of a door opening. A tall, lean, middle-aged man walked in and Max realized she wasn't in the forest anymore.
"Where am I?"
"Are you Max?"
"Yeah, Who are you. Where am I?"
"I'm Dr.White and you've been admitted to Eastern Baptist hospital. Do you remember anything from before now?"
"I was in my room and my friend M.H. pushed me out of my window and I fell into a rabbit hole and there was a room down there! And I met a floating cat and a caterpillar that was smoking a bong! And there was a rabbit who, who... "
"Okay I think that will be all for now Energie thank you."
The doctor wrote something down on the file he had of max and gave her a weary look.
"Is something the matter?"
"No everything is fine. Get some rest. You had a pretty hard fall."
Something was up. Max just told him she fell down the rabbit hole. She was fine. Maybe a bruised buttbone and a scraped hand but nothing threatening. She obliged to his wishes though and laid back down on the uncomfortable bed with the loud crinkly pillow and fell back down the deep dark rabbit hole.

Max woke up in a blinding white padded room with nothing but a mattress and max  herself inside of it. There was a big rectangular crack in the wall which max assumed was the door. Confirming her assumption the door opened and Dr. White walked in.
"Hello max."
"Where the fuck am I?"
"Bellinghum Asylum."
"Why?!"
"Some of the doctors and myself have assessed your case and we thought it best that you come here so we can try and treat you full time."
Max didn't like the smile he gave her. It made her spine shrink and the hair on her arms stand on end.
Bellinghum asylum? She wasn't crazy! She had to get out of there. That stupid bastered just wanted to fuck with her. This was all his fault.
"I'm not fucking crazy! You have to let me out of here!"
"I'm afraid I can't do that max."
She lunged at him. She grabbed him by his hair and slung his face down into the floor busting his nose. Keeping her hands tightly gripped in his hair she spun around and straddle his back.
"Listen, I could really fuck up your world Dr. White but I would really prefer not to." Bending down to his ear she nipped it teasingly and whispered "Pretty please let me out." She threw her head back laughing hysterically. Suddenly two pairs of hands grabbed her arms and pulled her off Dr. White, kicking and screaming for them to let go.
A nurse came in and gave her a shot of something that made her wosey and light headed. Panic washed over her as darkness started to consume her.
The last thing she saw was M.H. standing in the corner staring at her with horror in his eyes.
