"Ooh~ That's so cool! Can you draw me a picture??" The young blonde shook her head at the hyperactive boy. "Sorry. No." He frowned deeply,"Well why not?" She hummed in response and went back to drawing. The boy sighed and walked away in disappointment.
Her picture showed a girl in a corner. You could barely see her due to the shadows surrounding her, but when you did see her you would realize how sad she was. Tears filled her eyes as different shadows danced along the walls.
The girl looked back up and towards the boy who was all the way across the room talking to his friends. "I only draw pictures of the truth..." And no one would have guessed it, but in a darkened corner of the classroom a little girl sat balling her eyes out. Yet no one saw as they ran around and played while their shadows danced along the walls.
Lesson~ It's funny how we don't notice what goes on right in front of us.
