The cabin was old and dirty and the bodies scattered through the area made Carrie sick. Jack has comforted her as he locked them together in the bathroom. Hoping to survive they stayed together. Deep inside Carrie knew they would have to kill each other at some point. Jack did too but he didn't talk about it. Neither of them did. Jack was nice she liked him but he was the best of the worst everyone in here has killed someone. Even Carrie herself. Jack was nice and comforting but something always made him seem... off. He was always staring into the distance or staring at his mask. Perhaps it was the guilt of killing people Carrie had felt it too. She hugged him. Jack looked at her. He had liked her company and stroked her hair as she hugged him. She had stopped crying and just seemed... tired.
Do you want to have a sleep? He asked. Carrie nodded and Jack smiled.
I'll stay look out. He smiled. Carrie smiled back and closed her eyes snuggling closer. Jack looked up at the ceiling. He knew he had to kill her at some point. Not that he wanted to but he was always prepared. He groaned and looked at the ceiling as Carrie drifted to sleep, Jack stayed awake... wide awake.
