~~~On conference call~~~

"What?!",said Sabrina,Amelia, & Amy in unison.

"You are going on a date with Garry! ",said Amy with a 60% shock element and with 40% of excitement.

"Noo!! Its just a hang out you idiots!"

"I always told you that you and Garry had something hooked to each others heart.", Sabrina declared.

"How could you all judge like this, he's just a friend and moreover I-"

Amelia cuts me,"Whatever it is, have you decided what are you gonna wear?"

"Shit!!"

"We knew that!!", they all said together.

"Okay guys, I still have about an hour .Bye!"

"Bye."

I had an hour but didn't knew what to wear.I walked from my balcony to my room. I had everything at its best in my room with 3-D wallpapers, round bed, a walk in closet and a life size bathroom.Though my family was a middle income venture but there budget was always high on my needs. We had nothing to worry about.

I randomly waved my hands through my dresses. Then I remebered it wasn't a date, I had to opt for a casual wear.After 15-20 minutes I decided on a jeans and balloon top with flat bellies.

I looked at the watch, it showed 4:30.

I started getting ready. I put on my dress, did my hairdo with a sweet hairband and open curls. It wasn't a date, I reminded myself again, hence I just used a kajal and a lip gloss. I was ready with still 10 minutes left in my hand.

I went downstairs and looked for my mother. She was nowhere to be seen.

I called for her yet getting silence all around, I ignored my gut feeling and went on searching her. I finally went to the kitchen and on the double door fridge was a yellow sticky note announcing my bad luck. It said,"Darling I have to go drop Matt for a birthday party . I didn't wanted to disturb you while you were doing your project. I will be late, eat your dinner.

love, Mom"

Shit! What am I going to do now. Should I call him and invite over? Should I apologize and ask him for tomorrow? Should I just make a excuse and say some girly thing came up? Should I tell him the truth? The last one sounded most appropriate to me. I reached for my phone and was swapping the contact list when a realization made me froze in my actions. I didn't had his number!!

I couldn't help it. I noticed the time. I still had about 15 minutes. I needed to call one of my besties to find out a solution. If I called Amy, she would probably freak out and if I call Sabrina she would say 'Go with the flow my dear!'. So ultimately I called Amelia. She picked up after two long rings. I didn't gave her a chance to greet or anything, "Amelia I don't understand why my days are going so bad. When I came down I got to know that my mother is out, there's no one there and I can't leave. I decided to call Garry but realised I never had his number. I am kinda freaking out. Please help me and tell-"

"Sorry to interrupt you but actually Amelia is out at the moment and she forgot her cell here."

"Oh! I am so sorry Mrs.Prinkton"

"It's okay darling. Gotta go. Take care.'

"You too Ms.Prinkton."

What was with me and bad luck? Why did they always wanted to go hand in hand. I had spoken everything out to Amelia's mother and it felt like shit!

Why did they consistently say that there's always a solution to your problem? Either I was dumb and couldn't see the solution or my bad luck couldn't be overcomed in any manner! I think I had no choice rather than "Go with the flow" (according to Sabrina).
