chapter 9

I checked my cell phone for any messages and successfully found one, its of Jason. I quickly opened it and read it, it said:

"hey ! I want to tell you something really important".

"what is it?" , I replied it, feeling butterflies flying in random ways through my stomach. I waited for him to reply, but he didn't, so I simply got out of bed and did my homework, cleaned the dishes, and arranged my room which I didn't clean from past two days! It was a mess...after I did all my chores I packed for beach.

"Honey, take something casual to wear!", my mother said opening my closet to take out something good to wear. "This!!! Take this with you it would be cold there".

"What?! Mom we are going to the beach, why should I take my casual clothes? Shouldn't I take some beach cloths?" I said sarcastically.

"Do as I say no arguments", she said while taking out my casual wear and packing them, once she says something she does it whether I bang my head on the wall.

"ehhhgg!, okay".

"Wear this now and get ready, the guest will be here anytime". She said handing me the dress. The dress was pink colored which reached my knees; there was a bunch of flowers on the left side of its shoulders but a little down from it. It had a purple belt with it.

"No mom!, you know I am not girly I won't wear it" I said pouting.

"Okay, fine but wear something presentable" she said smiling, as she walked out of the room then I  quickly changed my cloths into my pajamas. I know my mom would be furious, but I was comfortable and it was presentable too I thought, and then I tied my hair in a high pony tail. After some while I heard the bell ring. Now is the time go for it your mom won't say anything to you in front of the guest, would she? No! Go Anns go! I said to myself running toward the main door and unlocking it.

"Hey!!!, Anna darling!" Emily said kissing my both cheeks.

"Hello" Jason said bored.

"Same old Anna, hahaha" Jacob said hugging me.

"anna. What .Did. I. Tell. You. About. Your. Dress..??!! my mom said furiously Grinding her teeth.

" oh, its totally ok krissy", Jacob said.

We had our dinner and Jacob, Emily and my mom started chatting and they shooed me and Jason away. So now me and Jason was alone together sitting in my room.

"so, what did you want to tell me", I said sitting on my bed as Jason sat beside's me.

"I  will tell you as soon as we leave"

"why not now?"

"Because I have to show it, I can't tell you like that".

"hmm" I said throwing my back against the soft mattress. I could see Jason staring me, he looked really tensed.

" I better go now" he said standing up and leaving the room. Today he acted really weird, I don't know what the problem?  but it must be something big.

After dropping them to the door and watching them as they left . I checked my phone for Jason's text. There was one... I quickly opened it, it said:

"anns, meet me at the school gate now"

"its too late!!!!!"

"please"

I trembled as I felt cold chills moving through my spine. I quickly threw an oversized t-shirt over my blue skinny jeans. Picking up my bag I ran toward the main door.

"mom, I am taking your car for a while its really important", I called my mom.

"okay, but be here soon and yes refill the gas". My mom called back from the kitchen. I picked up the car key and slammed the door behind me, I quickly sat inside my mom's ford and started the engine and drove away to my school. It was dark outside, I felt awkward. I spotted the gas station and drove inside.

"hello ma'am? ", a man said I cont make out his face because of the darkness outside. I got out of the car.

"full please, until I buy myself a drink from that store", I said locking my car and heading to the nearest store, my throat burned with thirst, I really needed something to drink I thought as I entered the store.i picked up some strawberry shake. And left the shop, I felt some one following me I started to walk as fast as I could, then I started running but strong hands caught me and placed something on my nose. I couldn't stand the sharp odor, next thing I knew was that my head hitting the hard ground...
