Sometimes life slaps you on your face with sad surprises saying: “ha!!! You’re too happy; I have got to let you down”.

Life isn’t  that easy if you ask me, here I  was recovering and here I am told that I have been engaged to Zander, whom I don’t even know, how can my parents do that too me, they betrayed me it. Really hurts to know the people you love the most breaks you in pieces.

I didn’t even see my mom face from 3 days and my dad’s I don’t even know when he would return, all I did in these three days was lock myself in my room without eating or drinking wrapping myself in my own dilemma. Many times mom tried to knock at my door leaving: “honey, I am so sorry, please come out and eat something”, I really felt bad for her sobs.

 I was really mad at Jason, I haven’t spoken to him since that day he told me the terrible news, yet he texted me several times even called me at least a million time but I was too drenched in grief to accept the calls or to reply the text, I really loved him, I couldn’t bear the sight of him kissing lily his so called girlfriend, so how could I stand the sight of me marrying another boy and not Jason like I dreamed of.

A slight door knock woke me up from my goofy imaginations.

“Anna? It’s me Jason, come on please open the door I can’t stand this anymore if you don’t open the door in ten seconds then I have to break it to get in, and you know I do what I say”. I have to get out of this bed and eat something though I have already taken a shower a minute ago, if I didn’t get off this bed in a minute I would die on my own bed from hunger.

“1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, I’m coming in”, but before he could break the door I opened it but as I flung the door open Jason fall on me face first, oh god he’s on top of me.

“You were resting on the door and yelling I’m coming in?” I interrogated him as he inched his face closer to mine.

“I didn’t have to have to break the door, I knew you would open it”, his minty breath fanned my face. “You haven’t eaten since three days; I can see your cheek bones”

“I don’t want to eat anything I just want to die” I lied.

“You’re such a bad liar, you know how much I missed you” he pouted as his thumb massaged my newly formed cheek bones, I closed my eyes enjoying his touch, his scent so ravishing a perfect mixture of wood and spices, I inhaled deeply to smell him as much as I can, I never wanted him to leave, to stay like this forever.

“How is lily?” I changed the topic as I pierced my eyes into his blue orbs, I could see shock and hurt in his eyes.

“Fine, you should eat something” he said looking concerned.

“I don’t want to, just leave me alone” the inner monster came out of me.

“Are you sure?” he asked me as he shoved a 100 kilo watt grin at me.

“Yes!!” no! No! My inner self screamed, you want him don’t lie!.
