Jackson's POV:
Mae has been my top secret crush since, well, it's been secret for the past 5 years. In 1st grade, when she came over with my sister, Nicole. I loved her strawberry blonde hair, and how she blew it back from her face. Her blue eyes sparkled with curiosity about what it was like with more than two kids in a house, and insisted that she stay with the three of us for at least a while. And her small freckles dotted all over her face made her even more attractive. I fell in love. Even though I knew it was doomed not to happen, I couldn't help myself. And, For a while, It worked. Mae and I cared about each other. I know, most first grade events aren't a big deal in the real world, but then, we cared about each other and usually always sat together, shared, and laughed with each other. But then someone transferred. Basically destroying Mae's vision of us, and we lost all progress we made together. I hated him, but he became one of my good friends. The boy that stole the girl of my heart, was none other than Aiden white.
