Werewolf Tris

Chapter. 11.

I'm so sorry I though I posted it before but I must have forgotten so here it is.

"lets do this soldier" I tell Tobias letting go of his hand as we walk closer to the fence

"Yes mam" he replies smirking

I take steady breaths and analyse the way the situation could go terribly wrong. This will be fine. I just need to look over the fence because I know there is more beyond the amity fence. I know it. I just know it.

"Alright" I let my voice cut the silence harshly " I don't like people wasting my time so we better get this done quickly, will that be a problem for anyone?" I purposely say making my voice sound bored and cruel

"What's going on here?" one of the guards asks suspiciously

I look at him incredulously, secretly hoping my acting isn't too cheesy that they can see through the bundle of lies I'm blurting out.

"please don't tell me they didn't tell you about this! Alright fine explain to these idiots why we have to waste our time Seb" I just about yell as I eye roll and look away in frustration

"Good day" Tobias or should I say Seb starts talking in a weird posh or English accent "Today we have been informed to check of any identity fraud and to check the perimeter because of the governments new safety role, if its quite okay with you we will have you all line up for the identification whilst my boss checks the perimeter and safety of your weapons, I have to warn that if you don't comply then we will have to fire you and send you to prison as it will automatically be taken as suspicious and unsafe. is that okay with everyone? great" he finishes

At least that's what I think he said because all his words were so fast I don't think he actually breathed at any part of that. I cant blame him thought, I can hardly breath either.

All the guards seem confused but just nod whilst setting their weapons down in a pile as to not lose their beloved jobs.

"Great. make a start with them whilst I check the perimeter and then come meet me to tell me everything fine so that we can start with the weapons" I instruct walking away with my head held high

I feel my eyes flying to every place to find something for the bracelets to fit into or something and I can feel myself getting more and more down as I desperately look. Some wind passes and my chills climb my back, but not because of the wind. its because of what I see in front of me.

There are 5 ring indents in the ground of the path and they all look like they connect, is this it?! I've found it.. have I actually found. Its hardly noticeable so you wouldn't be able to find it if you walked over it but you can just see it with how the light is hitting it. there's something out there. I knew it! I was right!

I feel a relieved laugh pour out of me and then feel a presence behind me. Tobias looks confused and desperate as he asks "have you found something?"

I nod with a smile taking over my face

"we found it" I tell him as he takes me into a hug which I instantly return as I laugh again

"lets put the bracelets in" he laughs pulling away and falling to his knees to quickly push the faction bracelets in

There is a click to show it was pushed in and then nothing happens so I look up and look around. As soon as I look up I see it instantly,

"Tobias" I whisper pulling him up to his feet so he can see what I see

In the distance there is a large city coming into view as if a curtain is being pulled back. Its amazing and massive and modern with a futuristic look far different from the war torn look of our city. It appears and then glistens in the sun's beams. Whilst we are looking at the city in the distance Tobias sighs and turns to me pulling at my arm so my eye connect to his beaming blue ones.

"Okay tris. There is obviously a lot more to come, so before you fly away into another adventure I want to do something. To make sure I never loose you.

Tris, when you first hit the net, all I registered was a grey blur. I pulled you across it and your hand was small but warm, and then you stood before me, short and thin and plain and in all ways unremarkable- except that you had jumped first. Even I didn't jump first. Your eyes were so stern, so insistent. Beautiful.

Since I was young I've always known this: life damages us, everyone. We can't escape that damage... but now, I'm learning this: we can be mended. We mend each other.

So without you Tris Pedrad. I would be nothing and I can't breath if your not with mess so will you make me the happiest man in this entire universe and will you, Tris Pedrad marry me?" he gets down on one knee at the last bit and looks up at me with hopeful eyes and a blindingly sparkly diamond ring cupped in his hands

I can't move my jaw at it stay frozen in a 'o' shape.

"YES!! Tobias yes of course" I cry falling into him and kissing him non stop

I love this man.

I really do love him.

To death and through life.

I think I'm going to leave the story here but I might decide to carry it on further if I get a really good idea or miss it but I don't want to drag it out and ruin it!
