I can't wait! It's 100 years since we defeated Nightmare Moon. And there is going to be a party to celebrate it! I thought in my head as I flew to the Crystal Empire. When I landed, I ran straight to the castle. "Shining Armor! Cadance! Flurry Heart! I have some awesome news!" FH turned around and shouted happily: "Aunt Twilight!" she ran to me and hugged me. "I'm happy to see you too, FH. But you better go change in your ball dress."
"Why is that Twilight?" Cadence asked. "There is going to be a ball to celebrate our victory over Nightmare Moon!"
"Really?! I can't wait!"
"Me too! We better hurry then. Thanks, Twili."
"No prob big brother. See you at the ball!"
"See you later!" all of them shouted back. Oh! I so can't wait!
??? POV.
I opened my eyes, a bright light blinding me. I quickly closed them. Where am I? When my eyes got used to the brightness, I looked around me. I guess a lot of things have changed. But one thing got my attention, The Crystal Empire. It didn't change at all. I stood up and saw my winds in the corner of my eye. My eyes widen. I looked at them and saw that they have midnight blue ends. My mane felt different too. And it was. It was wavy, but it didn't move. Yet. Sweet harmony. Two thousand years sure pass by fast. I wanted to leave, but then it hit me. Alicorn in the middle of nowhere? I used my magic to create a cape. Once I put it on I, the hood on as well. I wanted to hide my wings since they're a lot harder notice under a cape than a horn. I ran down the mountain to the Crystal Empire. "Come on, mom! Come on, dad! We'll miss the ball!" a pink alicorn mare laughed. "Don't worry, sweetheart. We'll make it." the white colt said. Guess mother and father. A born alicorn, huh? Equestria sure must have been surprised by this. I walked away as if nothing happened. "Excuse me, miss?" the alicorn child asked me. Well, adult. "Yes?" I said with no emotion in my voice. The death of parents hits you hard. "Will you go as my +1 to the ball?" I froze. Does she want me to go with them? "Flurry Heart!" the colt shouted at her. "I apologize for that. She can't wait to go to the ball."
"I can tell. I don't mind. I shall gladly go with Flurry Heart. Is that right?" the mare nodded. "Yes. I'm Cadance, and that's my husband, Shining Armor."
"Nice to meet you." I nodded. "And what's your name, miss?"
"You'll know it soon, but for now, call me Melody."
"Oh, Okay! But do you have some nice dress?" I nodded. I used my magic to change into them.

Their jaws dropped. "Y-You look beautiful! And I like the hairstyle too! Oh! And the dress! Sweet Celestia! You're all beautiful!" I smiled a fake smile and said: "Thank you. You look nice yourself." FH laughed. "Thanks! Now come on! We'll miss our train!" we walked to the train station. As soon as we got there, we got on the train and went to Canterlot. I can't wait to see Celestia's and Luna's faces when I'll get in the ballroom. But now that I think of it, I have my wings hidden. But still. I'm happy that I'll be able to see them again. It was 2000 years since we last saw each other. I moved my back a lot since it's pretty uncomfortable to have the dress on top of the wings. But luckily for me, we arrived pretty soon. "Oh, I can't wait! We're almost there!" I fake smiled. "Well...by your reaction, I'm guessing this is going to be your first ball?"
"You're right! It IS my first ball. Now I'm nervous." I fake laughed. "You don't need to be." Flurry Heart nodded and calmed down. "Hey, Melody?"
"What is it, Cadance?"
"Thank you for coming with us. FH would be panicking right now and would be the only one, who wouldn't have +1 pony." this time, I smiled a real smile. "No need. Born alicorns have great power. They need to enjoy their life until they can."
"How did you-?"
"I have my ways, Cadenza." I finished with her real name and jogged to catch up with FH. "Gyaah! Oh! Hi Melody. You scared me there for a moment."
"Sorry about that. Now let's wait for Cadance and Shining Armor so we can enter, alright?" she nodded. Soon they came, and we went inside. "May I get your names, please?"
"Cadance, Shining Armor, and Flurry Heart." Shining Armor said. "And you miss?"
"Announce me as Melody. Flurry Heart's +1." the announcer nodded. "Please let me welcome the Royal family from the Crystal Empire. Cadence. Shining Armor. Flurry Heart. And Flurry Heart's +1 pony, Melody." everypony cheered. Cadance went in, then Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, and lastly me. When I went to everypony gasped. I knew why. But I continued to walk. Soon I heard feathers moving behind me. "Excuse me?" Luna. I smirked in my mind. I turned around to face her. "Yes?"
"N-Nevermind. It's just that you look like somepony I know and miss."
"It's fine, Your Highness. I don't mind it." Luna nodded and flew somewhere. "Cadance! I'm so happy you made it! I was starting to worry that you wouldn't come!" a purple alicorn said. "Don't worry, Twilight. We'd never miss a ball for your victory!"
"What victory if you don't mind me asking?"
"You don't know?!?!"
"No...?"
"The defeat of Nightmare Moon! The return of the Elements of Harmony!" I mentally gasped. "I see...guess I was sleeping while she returned. Sorry."
"No, it's fine. I'm Twilight Sparkle."
"Melody. Call me that for now."
"Alright," and she went to continue talking with Cadance. I looked for Flurry Heart. Where in the alicorn magic's name is she?! I used my sensitive hearing to find her. "Oh, what a beautiful flower!" I saw a flower. My eyes widen. "Don't go any closer to that flower Flurry Heart!" I shouted while running forwards in her direction. Of course, everypony looked at me. "Why not Melody?" I used my magic to move her away. "What are you doing??!" I used my magic again. "AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" the 'flower' screamed in pain. Twilight stepped in front of FH, Tia and Luna came closer too. The 'flower' was soon in black light, and I knew what was going on. I created a force shield to keep everypony safe. The light soon 'exploded' and fit me and the shield hard. "Melody!" I heard FH scream my name out in worry. "You never give surrender do, you sister?" It was somepony I didn't want to see again.
