Chapter 4

Karina's POV

The three of us walked upstairs to get to Mariah's room. As we reached the top step, I bumped into somebody. I looked up to see it was Zayn Malik.

"Sorry." we both said at the same time.

"Jinks! You owe me a hug!" I said jokingly.

"Haha! Oh, alright!" he said as he brought me into a hug. Lizbeth made a fake cough, we pulled out of the hug. He smelled so good! Why did she have to do that?

"Hi, Zayn! I'm Lizbeth." Lizbeth said with a grin on her face.

"And I'm Brianna!" said Brianna.

"Hello girls! What's your name?" he asked me.

"I'm Karina." I replied.

"Well, we have to go now." Brianna said. As we walked to Mariah's room, I told Lizbeth "I'm getting you back for that."

"Haha, okay." she responded. After we changed, we headed down to the pool. Zayn was sitting on a chair near the pool, Danielle & Liam were being cute inside the pool, Niall was standing near Zayn, and Larry Stylinson were joking around on the pool.

Brianna's POV

When we got to the pool, I immediately spotted Harry.

"Brianna, are you coming in ?" he asked. I got so nervous and excited, I responded, "Yeah, coming." I noticed Louis gave me smile and wink, then he swam away. As I walked into the pool, he extended his hand to help me in. I grabbed it and jumped in getting him completely wet.

"I'm sorry." I said laughing a little. 

"Oh, it's okay. Don't worry." he said as he started splashing me.

"That's not fair!" I screamed while he was still splashing me. 'What I did was an accident."

" You're giving up? But we haven't even started yet!" he said with a grin on his face. 

"NEVER!" I screamed and splashed him as much i could. After ten minutes, i was getting tired. "Okay, I give up." Suddenly the splashing stopped. He started getting closer to me. 

"Now you owe me something." he said.

"What for?" I asked. 

"You lost the game and those are the rules." he continued. 

"This is a game?" I asked.

"Yes. One that umm, I just made up. So uhhh" he said.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh, I don't know. Umm. Will you, uhh, go on a date with me?" he asked shyly. 

"I don't know. I might be busy that day." I looked up at him. He looked kind of sad."Just kidding! Of course I will!" I said and we both smiled.

Karina's POV

When we went downstairs, Brianna immediately went Harry. Lizbeth sat next to Zayn. i went over to Niall and Louis. We were just swimming, talking, and laughing. Niall challenged me to a race. I was beating him until I heard Lizbeth and Zayn laugh. I looked at them. Zayn was smiling and Lizbeth was blushing looking at the floor.

"I beat you!" Niall said while making his way over to me. 

"I was distracted!" I replied.

"Sure you were." said Louis. 

"I was!" I said while looking back at Zayn and Lizbeth. They were just talking now. I felt jealous. I don't know why though. Zayn and I just ment. Lizbeth's my best friend. If they did decide to be together, why would i be jealous? i should be happy for them. Ugh!

"So you have a thing for Zayn." Louis said. I think he saw me staring at Zayn.

"What? No!" I replied quickly.

"You say one thing, but your eyes say another." Niall told me. 

"Well, I guess I do. But I just met him. It's not even possible!" I said.

"Actually, there's this thing called love at first sight." Louis said while looking over at Lizbeth and Zayn, then back at Niall. 

"Did you hear a bell or ring when you first saw him? Did you stare into each other's eyes? If you did, did you get butterflies in your stomach? Did you picture you two getting married?"  Niall asked excitedly.

"No that's crazy! Not really. I guess I did feel butterflies. I did in my dreams once!" I replied. 

"Doesn't sound like love at first sight. But I can tell that you do have feelings for him. So go get your boy!" Louis said. 

"Somebody go with me though." I said.

"I will!" Niall replied quickly.

"I'll go with Hazza and Bree." Louis sighed.

"You miss Eleanor, don't you?" I asked.

"More than you could ever imagine! I hope she'll be able to visit next weekend. She'll be pleased to meet you girls. We could all go on a group date!" Louis said before saying "go get Zayn now, babe!" and swimming away. Niall and I went over to Lizbeth and Zayn.

Lizbeth's POV

Zayn and I were just talking. About life and music. I kept glancing at Niall. Zayn must've noticed because he told me that Niall & I would make a cute couple. I blushed. I looked at the floor hoping it would cover it, but Zayn was smiling so he must've seen. I changed the topic but still kept galncing at Niall. I soon saw Niall and Karina coming over to us.

"Hello!" Niall said with a big smile.

"Hi!" Zayn and I both said at the same time. I smiled at Niall. He was so cute! Karina started flirting with Zayn. 

"So how have you been?" I asked Niall.

"I've been doing well. But then you started talking to me, so now I'm doing amazing." he said with a wink.

"Oh, so you're flirting with me now?" I asked.

"Yeah, I guess I am. Has anyone told you  that you look cute in that outfit even though we're at a pool party?" he asked. I giggled.

"No. But I think you just did." I said.

"I'ms a horrible flirt!" he said while looking down.

"Yeah, you are!" I said.

"'Hey!" he said looking up.

"You didn't let me finish! You're a horrible flirt, but you're the most beautiful person in this world." I said as we looked into each other's eyes.

"Thanks, love!" he said smiling. "Here's my number he said as he took my phone to put his number in. After he was done, he handed me my phone back and said "call me!" Zayn & him left. 

"You got his number?" Karina asked excitedly. "I got Zayn's!!!"

"Oh my gosh! Best freakin day ever!" I said as Brianna walked over to us. She had a huge smile on her face.

"Who has two thumbs and is going on a date with Harry Styles? This girl!!!" Brianna said, 

"Where is he?" I asked.

"The band had to leave. But Danielle is still here." She informed us.

"Did I just hear my name?" Danielle said as she sat down.

"Hi!' we all said. We all talked and laughed. Soon we were joined by Crystal, Daniel, and Mariah. By six o'clock everyone had left. With the pool empty, we all got in. But I just sat at the edge and got my feet wet. I'm such a loser...

At around eight, we went inside to watch Final Destination. By the time it was over, Karina and Crystal were sleeping. Since Crystal & I each had our own room, we decided to stay over. I even had some clothes here. I let Karina and Brianna borrow some pajamas. We were all soon asleep....
