After my mom and I found a limousine that her new husband sent waiting outside our house, we drove for four hours until we finally reached the destination. We got out of the limousine and I was amazed. In front of us was a mansion. No, it's not a mansion, It's a palace!
We walked towards the front door as a man walks beside us, a guard, and rings the doorbell. The grand front door opened, revealing a big fancy house.
A man, in his late 30's, walked, more like ran toward my mom and grabbed her waist.
"Oh, I missed you so much, My dear." My mom blushed and laughed. "Ah, you must be Jimin, right?" I nodded. "Well, I'm Jongsoo".
He seemed like a good guy but his smile scared me a bit. Jongsoo had a really dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing formal clothes, so I guessed he just went home from his work. A businessman.
"Let's go to the dining area so we can eat and have a chat." He said as he lead us to the dining room.
The place took my breath away. The dining area was big, with long mahogany table that could accommodate 12 persons.
Seriously, how many sons or daughters he has?
My mouth almost watered from the delicious looking food. On the table was kimchi, ramen, sushi, chicken and all kinds of fish I did't even knew.
As we were eating, Jongsoo started talking "So... what do you do most of the time, Jimin?" He asked me as he stabbed a chicken with his fork, looking at me like I'm really his child. It almost made me happy. Almost. My dad can never be replaced. He's my only dad. No one else.
"Well, I play soccer." I said nonchalantly, while I shove noodles into my mouth.
"Not just that, he's the leader of the group!" My mom said proudly. She looked at me with pure happiness that was etched across her face and I gave her a thankful smile.
"Oh, that's great!" Jongsoo chirped happily. "How does soccer work?" He then frowned. My mom and I laughed at him and Jongsoo just pouted.
I already like this old man.
"What? Sorry, I'm not a big fan of soccer, but hey, you can teach me!" He said and I just nodded at him. I knew he said that just so we could get closer.
"Where's Yoongi?" My mom asked Jongsoo, putting her hand on top of his. From their looks, they are really in love with each other.
"Outside," Jongsoo said.
"Who is Yoongi?" I asked awkwardly, scratching the back of my neck as I look at Jongsoo.
"Yoongi is my son," he said "You guys could go hang out together!"
"Don't you remember? I told you that you'll have a new brother!" My mom squealed next to me as I frowned at her. She only pouted and I laughed a bit.
"When can I meet him?" I asked.
Suddenly I heard the front door slam, I looked at Jongsoo and he just sighed.
"Right now, I guess." Jongsoo replied. When a guy near my age walked over us, he was frowning. He looked at his father, then turned to my mom, and then to me, and his frown got deeper.
He had mint hair, and brown eyes. He looked around my height. "Yoongi, have a dinner with us and meet your new brother and step-mother!" So this is Yoongi. His frown got even deeper.
What's up with him?
"I don't want to. He seems troubled. I don't want him here." He said, turning around.
Did I do something wrong?
"Yoongi! Get your ass back here and apologize to your new brother!" Jongsoo shouted as he stands up, ready to run after Yoongi.
Mom just placed her hand on Jongsoo's arm and shook her head. Jongsoo apologized to me but I only shrugged.
Geez. Yoongi is Quite grumpy.
This grumpy boy is going to be my new brother. My new step-brother.
