Yoongi's P.O.VThe start of a new school year...
Out of nowhere there was a loud bang on my door.
Groaning, I rolled over my bed, more tired than ever. This is the first day of school, of being a senior. There will be lots and lots of new students.
Another bang on the door.
I got off my bed, fighting the urge of getting back to sleep. I walked towards the door and opened it, only to reveal the annoying face of Park Jimin, my annoying step-brother.
"What?" I snarled at him. It's too early. It's only 6 in the morning, and school won't start until 8am, so why is he waking me up so early? We still have 2 hours to prepare, and not to mention that school is just near to my house.
"Jongsoo said wake up," Jimin said disgustedly, glaring at me. "So go downstairs. They keeps bugging me to wake you up."
I rolled my eyes at him, uninterested of what he's saying. In fact, I really don't care about him, I don't care about him at all. Seung, my new mom, is all I really care. She makes my dad happy. I just hope she won't leave us, like my own mother did. She left us for another guy. She doesn't care about us, she only cares about her new guy. What a bitch. I mean, dad is such a nice guy. Who would have thought that a guy, a very nice, caring, loving guy, like my father would be dumped?
"Yeah, fine" I snarled, glaring at him. Jimin is just irritates me. He's annoying. Very annoying. I hate everything about him. At school, nobody know gonna know that we live in the same house. We made a deal that we wont tell that we are somehow related. "Now get out of my room. Hopefully also from my life, too"
"Mean." He muttered to himself. I slammed the door in his face.
Not bothering about it, I took a shower. After that, I wore my uniform. When I got downstairs, everyone were already at their seats. My dad was wearing a white, long-sleeve polo, tucked in his gray pants. He was also wearing a red tie.
He drank coffee as he read the newspaper, his dark hair was gelled to the side.
"Good morning, sweety." Seung smiled at me as she kissed my cheek. Dad saw us and hid a smile using the newspaper. I know he's happy about Seung and I getting along, but I also know he's also pissed because Seung's son, Jimin, and I cannot get along.
"Good morning, mom." I said as I gave her a bear hug. I swear she's the best woman I've ever met. She prefers to cook, rather than the maids. She wants us to taste her cooks.
When she moved in, the house lightened up, it became colorful.
I noticed Jimin is quiet. Very unusual. Very odd. His orange hair was in its usual style. He was wearing the same uniform as mine and He looked at the plate strangely. Mom sighed, noticing Jimin's unusual attitude for today.
"You really miss it, don't you?" Mom asked Jimin as she takes the seat across from him. Jimin just nodded. What does he miss? Does he have a girlfriend? Does he miss his friends back there?
Not that I care much.
"Honey..."
"It's not just about that, mom." Jimin said, looking down at his lap. Seriously, what's this kid's problem? Why is he acting this way? He's always annoying. A cocky bitch. But now, it's like he's not in the mood. "I don't have now the appetite to eat." He said as he stood up from his seat, the chair rustled as he does so. I rolled my eyes at him. God, what has crawled up in his ass causing him to act that way?
Seung just sighed as Dad placed his hand on hers. She looked at dad and gave him a small, sad smile. Dad, Seung and I just ate in peace. The dining area was quiet, not like always.
Usually, Jimin would rant about school and Dad would just tease him about girls and Seung would talk about sex and safety tips. It's different without Jimin's annoying face.
After I ate, I said goodbye to both of them and headed to school, driving my car.
In 2 minutes, I got to school, parking at the parking lot. I picked up my books from my locker and shove it inside my bag, and headed to class as the bell rings. As usual, girls were looking at me.
I just smiled at them and they looked like they're going to faint or something.
This school was made for kids that come from rich families. Some of the students here are poor. The only reason why they are here is because of their scholarships.
Each year has representatives. From the freshmen year, it's Park Sung Hyo. The representative of sophomore year is Yang Kwang-Seok. From the junior year is no other than Park Jimin. Can you believe it? A year ago, he's a nobody, and now, he's the junior's representative! Just unbelievable.
And from the senior year is, well, me.
At the end of the hallway, there was a round room, where the hallways of each year connected, and as usual, we all meet there. Sung Hyo and her minions, Ja-Kyung and her guards, Jimin and his bodyguards, and well, me with my friends. And as expected, Sung Hyo winked at me and Ja-Kyung flirted with me whereas Jimin seems uninterested in meeting them.
We all split up to get to our classes. Jimin just rolled his eyes at me and I glared at him. What a moron.
As I entered the class, all eyes are trained on me, including the professor's.
"Mr. Min, why are you always late?" The professor asked. I arched an eyebrow at him. Who the hell is he to ask me?
"I'll fire you." I said coldly as I walked over to my seat.
Oh, I forgot to mention. This is my father's school.
