the sports event

Len's POV

"Good morning class, take your seats," Sensei said, coach standing beside her.

"As you all know, tomorrow is the beginning of the spring festival! Since we've been very busy in decorating and preparing, I'm happy to announce that our work is done!" "Yey!" All the students cheered.

"But that doesn't mean, you'll be slacking today. We haven't had time to practice for the sports event, so we'll have to practice today!" Sensei continued.

Sports event?

"Aaaww," everybody complained.

"And I'll have to help you prepare for it. Change into your P.E uniforms and head to the gym, meet me there in 10 minutes," Coach said, he blew his whistle. Signalling us to move.

Everybody stood up and headed to their respected changing rooms.

As I follow the slow moving the crowd, I saw her.

"Hi Rin-chan, Miki-chan!" I called out, waving.

"Hi Len-kun!" Miki said, waving back.

I was expecting Rin to wave back first.

Rin still has that angry expression on her face. I saw Miki's eye suddenly twitch, her face showing pain.

"Let's go, Miki," Rin said, seriously. Grabbing Miki's arm.

"Ehe- she's kinda in a bad mood," Miki said.

"It's okay, I understand. See you at the gym then," I said.

Could she possibly be jealous, Rin?

I walked away and headed to change.

Rin's POV

"Rin-chan, rumours say that Len asked Miku to the dance," Miki said.

We were heading to the "Female changing room".

"I know,"

"What? And you aren't even reacting?"

"Why? Do I really have to?" I said.

"Hi Rin-chan, Miki-chan!" A familiar voice called.

We turned around and saw Len.

"Hi Len-kun!" Miki quickly waved back.

She was supposed to ignore this guy.

I pinched Miki at the back.

"Let's go, Miki," I said trying to sound cheerful. I grabbed her arm.

"Ehe- she's kinda in a bad mood," Miki said.

"It's okay, I understand. See you at the gym then." Len said and walked away.

Oh really? You understand?

God, how I wanted to kick this guy!

"Hey, why didn't you wave back?" Miki asked

"I didn't feel like waving back,"

"Like I guessed, you're jealous but you're trying to deny it,"

"Miki I'm not jealous, I don't like him and that's final," I said.

"Suit yourself," She said, teasing.

We headed to the changing room and changed to our P.E uniforms.

At the gym

"Squat and listen carefully," Coach said.

"Yes coach!" everybody said in unison and squatted down.
