Y/n woke up to her cousin, Zailey, screaming in her ear. She was running from her brother, Maddex. "Get out guys!" She screamed at them while pulling the covers over her head in attempt to block out the sound. "Never!" Both the kids screamed and then jumped onto the bed screaming louder this time. Y/n got up and started to tackle Maddex when Zailey jumped on her back and brought her back to the mattress. "Ahhh! When did you get so strong Zailey? Your like 4 years old." "Actually, I'm 5." Zailey retorted quickly, holding up her fingers to show. After about 10 minutes of play fighting with her cousins y/n got up to go get a bowl of Reese's Puffs for breakfast even though it was mid day already.
Y/n lived in nice "neighborhood" of about 20 people. It was always quiet because she lived in a valley with tons of trees around to absorb the sounds of the road. Her road was in The shape of a circle and her house was at the south end of it surrounded by lush green grass and apple trees. Her parents had always kept the yard perfect. They used to say, "It's the thought that counts when it comes to a beautiful yard." Y/n never understood what that meant but held it close to her heart when her parents died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Now she lived with her Aunt Janine and Uncle Duke.
Y/n never had many friends, but the friends she did have loved her like a sibling. Tyler was her best friend along with Hope, Maddie, and Lily. She couldn't remember the last time any of them had ever been in a fight about anything because they all got along so well. Most of their time was spent hanging out at school and wandering the mall buying nothing but just gossiping about the "populars" or the "jocks" while eating pretzel bites or icecream.
Other than dead parents and being a complete outcast she had a normal human life. She did normal sports. Normal clothes. Normal crushes too. But soon that will all change.
