"ugh, this is so heavy." dana groaned when lifting the cardboard box from the floor.

"don't be such a pussy, dana." youngmin laughed who was leaning on the door frame.

"watch your mouth when talking to my sister!" donghyun glared at youngmin.

"man, calm down, she's also my sister." youngmin added clicking his tongue afterwards.

donghyun rolled his eyes. "yeah, step sister." they both glared at each other before ignoring each other.

here we go again, was dana's only thought. they just moved to a new town due to her dad marrying a new woman which she's completely okay with.

they've lived in the states since dana was born, and suddenly coming to korea was weird as hell. she did know her basic korean and could communicate with everyone but still.

hyeri, aka her stepmom, already had two other kids. youngmin and woojin. she was actually pretty good with them, tho her older brother donghyun hated it when youngmin teased her.

dana finished bringing all her stuff up to her room, and tried to control her breathing. she looked at her white walls, which she decided to keep that way, then at her huge bed and then to her also huge closet.

they weren't rich, but she had to admit that they did have more money than other people.

dana jogged downstairs, taking water out of the fridge which wasn't cold yet since it's only been in there for 10 minutes but she didn't really care.

"kids, don't forget to pack your schoolbags for tomorrow!" hyeri shouted. with 'kids' being woojin and dana. donghyun and youngmin already graduated and were both searching for a job right now.

"hyeri, can i go for a walk? i need fresh air and i can look around town while doing so." dana asked her stepmom while she tried putting every dish into the cupboards in the kitchen.

"sure, dear, but don't forget to take your phone with you, just in case you get lost." she smiled sweetly and started putting the dishes back in. dana did like her, she was very sweet and caring.

dana finished the water and went into the living room. she took her phone, keys and a jacket just in case it gets cold. she said a small goodbye which was ignored but not that she'd mind.

dana took a deep breath in and just randomly started walking. she looked around and noticed how peaceful and quiet this area seemed.

it has been 10 minutes since dana started walking until she noticed a field of flowers to her left side.

wow, she thought. she couldn't stop herself from walking there and eyeing it with admiration.

she saw a path going through the field, following it until she reached the end which kind of was a weird shaped circle but it was big enough for her to sit or even lay down.

dana decided to lay down since she wasn't wearing anything fancy. "next time, i'll bring a blanket." she muttered to herself.

she stared at the sky just thinking about life, the things that could happen here. she smiled at the thought of making friends here.

it wasn't until a voice interrupted her thinking session, surprising her.

"are you okay down there?"
