It was daytime when I woke up the next morning. I could tell from the light, from the rectangular window blinding my eyes. I noticed that I had a blanket around me and my ankles were free from the rope.

My skin was red raw and it stung in the basements cold air. Moving into the shade I saw the basement more clearly. It was very dusty with cobwebs and alot of boxes covered in large white sheets.

Using the wall as support I stood up, barefoot, the floor was freezing. I walked around the dungeon I was being held captive in, trying to look for something to cut this rope on my wrists.

I walked a certain distance when I noticed the door to the basement was open. I ran over to the stairs only to be pulled very quickly backwards causing me to fall on my backside.

Turning round I saw a chain attached to the rope around my wrists going off into the darkness. I pulled on the chain hoping that it'd break but it was no good. It was a new silver chain. One you attach to a dogs collar in the garden.

"Thats no good. You'll never break it" a male voice came, making me jump in surprise.

Louis again. It will always be him.

He was carrying a tub of cream and a cup of water. Walking over to me he grabbed me under the armpit and helped me to my feet.

I was pushed over to the corner and forced to sit down on a box. Louis knelt down infront of me and took my right foot and put it on his lap.

Putting some cream on the red raw mark I hissed and jumped up slightly. Pausing for a moment Louis waited till I stopped moving and gently rubbed the cream all around my ankle.

His skin was so soft and  liked how it felt when fingertips glided with ease over my skin.

Slowy the pain began to fade. Louis suffled over to my left ankle and put the cream over the red mark. I hissed again and shuffled abit.

Waiting till I stopped moving Louis applied the cream, his hands still so smooth. I leaned backwards and closed my eyes, enjoying the feeling of his mooth hands masasging the raw mark.

I didn't notice that Louis had stopped applying the cream and instead was running his hands up my leg, round and down the inside.

"Why won't you talk to me?" he asked, breaking the silence. If I didn't hear correctly I'd say he sounded somewhat upset.

I still never answered. Only sat up, pulling away from his wandering hands. Louis sighed, looking at the ground. He didn't know what to say, I didn't blame him. Neither did I. After all what do you say to your kidnapper besides 'Let me go' and that never works.

"I wish I heard your voice again sweetheart" Louis hand wandered up to my cheek, his forefinger sliding over it gracefully.

I moved my head to the oposite side. As much as I like his smooth hands, this was wrong. I didn't dare look at his face. I heard Louis scoff and from I guessed he stood up.

"I guess you don't want to watch the TV then. Your all over the news. Shame. Its only been a few hours since you've gone missing, you must be popular"

My head snapped up as a rushed after Louis as he began to leave. The chains caught me, causing me to fall on the floor again. People were already searching for me? The shop lady must have called the police.

"Oh so you want to watch the news?" he smiled and laughed lightly. The look on my face made that perfectly clear. Reaching into his back pocket and took out a set of keys. Walking behind me the chains were unlocked from the ropes that bound my wrists together.

Taking hold of my elbow Louis brung me up to my feet, pushed me forwards and up the stairs. The house was bright and clean. Family portraits on the walls. Nothing like you would expect a kidnapper to live in.

Noticing that I was staring at the pictures Louis pushed me more forcefully into the living room.

Shoving me to sit down on the sofa, still my hands bound, Louis switched the TV on. A blodne female news report came on. How long was I asleep for?

"Still missing Nicola Tyler was last seen by Maria Jones in her shop after reportedly running from a man who appeared to be chasing her. If anyone has seen this man please contact the police immeditaly" A picture from CCTV, my guess was the shop and another from the place where I worked, appeared on the telly.

The TV switched off. Louis walked over to the window, pulling the curtain backwards slightly, as if he was looking for someone.

I hadn't realised I wsa crying untill a cold tear hit my bare knee. I sobbed loudly, unable to wipe my tears away. I was still staring at the blank TV screen I hadn't noticed Louis moving and sitting next to me.

He fidgeted with his hands, not knowing what to do. I felt his hand move to my cheek, wiping away the stains away, then moving and did the same to the other cheek.

"Its been three days" Louis said suddenly. My eyes widened in shock. 3 days? How could I sleep for 3 days?

Was there something in the food he gave me? It must have been.

"If you never ran. This wouldn't have happened" Louis spoke, a bit of anger in his voice. What was going to happen now?

If only I never ran. But what if? Wouldn't he have still tried to chase after me?

I was lost. And from the looks of things. So was he.
