"Just a little bit closer..." Jay whispered as she looked into the scope of her rifle. She kept her breathing steady, arms shaking slightly from lying on the cement, waiting for her target.
Bang. Target down.
Jay smirked as the target fell to the ground, bystanders screaming in fear. She put her rifle away and jumped down into an alley way, putting on a bandanna to hide her face. She was wanted, after all.
Pulling her comm off of her utility belt, she hid in the shadows.
"Hey, Dax," She said, "ya there?"
"Yeah. You get the target?" a voice replied.
"Mhmm. A few witnesses, though."
"Okay. The payment should be delivered in a few days."
"Understood, call me if you got more clients"
She ran down the streets, avoiding the stormtroopers as she went.
She stopped as she saw her wanted poster.

Dead or Alive
Wanted for theft, murder, and treason'
"Tch"
Treason? Please. It's just a job. High pay, too. She thought to herself.
She reached her home, an abandoned watch tower used by the Imperials in a shady part of the city.
"Home sweet home..." she murmured as she closed the door behind her.
She lay down on her bed, turning on her datapad and looking through the holonet.
"Breaking News! Senator Cryo of the Outer Rim is dead! He was shot to death earlier today, and local officers have told us it was likely that it was the work of the infamous assasin, 'The Star Sniper'. Officer Clarke of the nearby Imperial checkpoint advises all citizens be weary and on the lookout for this dangerous person. They are wanted for theft, murder, and treason. This is Nala Xylan, Holonet News."
She smirked. News spreads that fast, huh? Nice to know I'm a public threat.
Hi there! So I got the idea for this story while watching Zero Hour parts 1 and 2 for the fifth time. I don't really see many characters in the Star Wars universe that are snipers, so I made one. Anyways, like I said in the description of this story, it doesn't really take place around any of the episodes, but most likely it's around the time where Kanan is already blind and uh.. ya. Kanan being blind is basically like a checkpoint in the show for me to know when events happen. Anyways, if you like the story so far, let me know and I'll have more updates in the future. Bye!
