FORKS, WA

NOVA SWAN FOUND HERSELF in her mothers car driving along the highway of Forks Washington.

She could already start to feel the cold air surrounding her, even though the heat was turned on fully. She grabbed a scarf out of her bag that was near her feet, and wrapped it around her neck.

Beside her, her mother chuckled. Nova's eyes glanced over at her mother's, and Nova shook her head. "What?" Allison, Nova's Mother fell silent.

She's going to miss her only daughter. The one who she truly loves most in this world.

Allison and Nova are very close, nothing can tear them apart. Except this. Except the fact that her mother is moving to Seattle without her. Nova likes it where she lives, she didn't want to leave Port Angeles. She loves visiting her older cousin Bella and her uncle Charlie down in Forks Washington whenever she can.

Although it isn't that long of a drive to Seattle, her mother will still visit Nova whenever she can get a chance to. But with this new job she has, it's going to be tough with making arrangements with her work.

Mostly holidays they will visit, and some days when uncle Charlie can drive his niece to Seattle since she doesn't have her permit yet. Nova will miss her Mom. She'll miss the way she laughs, the way she smiles. Her smiles always brightens Nova's day on daily basis. The good thing about doing online school is that she can do these certain things with Allison.

She can go anywhere and wherever she wants, and she doesn't have to worry about getting up or being late, also missing any classes. That's the great thing about online schooling. Unlike other kids, they wouldn't spend much time as they should doing their work online. But Nova, Nova is all about the work. Smart, just like her mother. A straight A student, a great listener, she knows how to do things and learns new things fast. When she was little Nova grew up without a father. Charlie's brother left Nova and Allison when Nova was just turning three months old. Allison hasn't been in a relationship since. Instead Nova grew up with her mother, and with ought any siblings.

Which was a good thing because her best friend Caroline has three older brothers, and Nova couldn't picture having three of them living under the same roof with her and her Mom. It would be a nightmare. Nova and her mother are stronger than ever. They have the greatest mother and daughter relationship that others would wish for. They spend a lot of time together, and Nova loves it.

She loves her Mom with all of her heart. Rain beats on the front windshield which snapped Nova out of her thoughts. Allison flicked on the windshield wipers. Nova looked down at her outfit. She had a t-shirt on underneath her big jacket, her favourite jeans, and paired with her black converses. She has way too many converses. Nova packed a whole box with converses in it, she couldn't leave any behind.
