It's Not a Game

Troy's POV:

We started moving across large shelves as our mode of transportation. I started to get the feeling we were the only ones left in the game at this point. Abed started talking, "Okay, we'll go into the vents, they'll never find us there". It seemed pretty pointless to do so, so I replied by saying, "I say we take a stand here, I mean, someone's gotta win sometime". Abed shook his head, "Not if we never kill each other, then we can play forever" he said while going towards the air vent in the ceiling. "Right! Wait, Abed, the floor can't be lava forever, the game's gotta end". Abed looked at me with sadness, an emotion I rarely see from him. He clutched onto the shelf and started to shake his head, "It's not a game for me Troy. I'm seeing real lava because you're leaving. It's embarrassing". Abed was getting emotional, I never realized how hard this has been for him.

He continued talking "And I don't want to be crazy but I am crazy so, I made a game that made you and everyone else see what I see"

He continued talking "And I don't want to be crazy but I am crazy so, I made a game that made you and everyone else see what I see". I looked down and imagined the floor being a flaming red hot pool of lava, one you cannot escape from. "I don't want it to be there either I swear. I want you to be able to leave but I don't think the lava goes away until you stop leaving". I wanted Abed to be okay, I was always there for him, and I would do anything to help him. "So the only way I can help you, is by giving up my chance to. . be one person?" I questioned, but neither of us knew the answer.

A loud bang came from the doors as Britta and Hickey slid down the stairs riding on a bookcase. Britta shouted, "You guys ready for closure!". I cared about Abed, and the last thing I wanted was him being pushed into lava, especially considering how real it all was to him. "Guys! Stop, okay? The lava's real to Abed! It's not a game to him!" I shouted out in concern. "Oh, no" Britta mumbled quietly. But Professor Hickey had different ideas, "You know what I think? I think he's used to getting his own way. I think he's never met me" Hickey sneered, as he used the deflated Orb to create a chain reaction. The shelves began to fall down Abed grabbed onto a pole hanging above the ground.

Abed's POV:

I hung from the pole in horror and distress, Troy was screaming my name. Britta pushed Hickey to the floor in anger. Troy called out to me, "Abed! Give me your other hand!". I reached into the my backpack to grab the comic book. "It's down to us, you and Britta will be the winner" I said preparing for the worst. Troy attempted to help by saying, "I'm not leaving okay? Just. . . I promise. Th-The floor's not lava now just give me your hand".

I knew what I had to do, I was terrified and calm at the same time

I knew what I had to do, I was terrified and calm at the same time. "I don't think the lava's here because you're leaving, I think it's here because I won't let go. Sorry" I said while I looked up at the ceiling. "Bye.". Troy was screaming my name, "Abed! Abed"

Troy was screaming my name, "Abed! Abed"

His voice echoed throughout the room, his screams becoming louder. I closed my eyes and loosened my grip on the pole, plummeting into the lava below. "Abed! Abed!" got louder from Troy but quieter to me. I could feel when my feet touched the floor, and I fell back. My head felt a sharp pain that vibrated through my skull, white dots danced in my vision and the world grew silent and black.

Dramatic, I know. But the next chapter is where the twist comes in and things do not end the same way that they do in the episode. A LOT MORE DRAMA. Trust me after the next chapter this show goes from comedy to tragedy real quick. But I don't want to spoil too much so I will just get working on it! Thanks for reading!
