Don't Be Afraid

Chapter 2

Rose's POV

I woke up too a thriving pain in my head as I looked around, I saw that I was lying on a white satin soft couch though... I looked around taking in my surroundings as I saw a man standing by two wooden huge doors, it frightened me that I was nowhere near home at all...

I stood up as my clothes were wrinkled, more like my pajamas were... I looked around the room and saw that it was large compared too my room at home, "Where am I?" I mumbled too my self, I looked around and walked out of the room closing the door quietly behind me, "Rose? is that you?" asked a voice from behind.

I turned around as fast as I could and used my self defense move that my dad had taught me well I was younger, "Wow! Rose... no need too get all karate on me" said the boy, "don't you remember me?"he asked, I shook my head and backed up as the boy walked closer... "I'm Elliot" he replied, I shook my head more as I turned around and began running away until I ran into someone's chest.

I looked up into some sea weed green eye's as I sat on the floor, my eye's widened... the man wasn't any man... he was Louis... my best friend from when I was in second grade.. "watch where your going mortal" he snapped and walked away... I blinked before standing and turning too see Elliot standing there.

"He doesn't remember his child hood" Elliot explained, I raised an eye brow, "when you turn you lose your child hood memories... which I was lucky that I didn't lose mine because I was born" he said, I exhaled and ran a hand through my dark brown hair and looked around... "How long?" I asked, he gave me a questioning look.

"How long what?" he asked, "how long tell I find my aunt?" I asked... he sighed, "they didn't tell you?" he asked, I looked at him before he inhaled and gulped... "she was turned... she won't have any memory of you Rose.. she's gone. I'm sorry but it's the truth" he said before looking at his shoes.

He ran a hand through his blond hair as his blue eye's searched my brown one's for a sign of emotion.. I was shocked. I couldn't believe this! my aunt wouldn't remember me and I'm stuck in this place with vampires that I don't even think exist!

"Elliot! Come down here now" said a voice that I highly doubted I knew. "I'll be back" he said before running down the steps in amazing speed. I looked around the hall way and saw lot's of door's on each wall. This is strange though... how could I accept coming here? I could've stayed behind! but either way... They would've still made me come....

But Louis... once I saw him. It just blew my mind up that he look's gorgeous from the last time I saw him! "What's your name?" came a voice that I knew and would never forget the rest of my life. "R-Rose" I replied turning and saw Louis standing there with his arm's crossed...

He look's like he keep's in shape that's all I have too say, he wore black jeans and a white shirt with a black vest that said 'Red blood's' Huh... that was a weird name for a high school. "Well Rose... will you be the one that has too he living with us? the mortal that will be living with us?" he asked. I gulped, I didn't know what too take that as though.

"I don't know" I replied truthfully... "Rose... come down here I need too talk too you" said the woman from last night at the end of the stair case. "But first, there's some clothes on your bed and some shampoo plus body wash in your room. You may take a shower" the woman said, I nodded and scurried off.

I took my clothes off and got into the hot water that poured down my body relaxing every muscle that was tense. I put some of the shampoo into my hair and washed it as I rubbed the body soap on and washed it all off. I then got out dried my body and hair before getting dressed into some maroon short mini skirt and a white dress shirt and black vest that said the same thing on Louis's vest.

I pulled on the socks and then the black flats before drying my hair better and straightened it. My hair looked so smooth and soft that made me smile at my reflection. I walked out and down the steps and too where I assumed the kitchen was and found the woman who had took me standing there looking and talking to a woman in a maids costume.

"Miss..." I trailed off as she turned around and saw me. She smiled at me before replying "Please Rose.. call me Eleanor" she said, "Eleanor... please tell me why I'm here again?" I asked, she sighed before walking too me and put her hand's on my shoulder turning me around and began walking me towards a huge door.

She opened it and ushered for me too go inside. I walked in as she closed the door behind me but I had also noticed that she didn't come in... I looked around as the light's flickered on and I looked around the room too see an old man sitting a huge black desk. "Rose, my name is Jack. You've been unrolled too the Red Blood's high school by your parent's when they had first married. They try do deny it all they want for putting you in this situation but there was no going back, but for some what ever reason one day someone tried too bite you correct?" the old- I mean Jack asked.

I nodded, "Yes. I was walking back from-" I was cut off by him putting his hand up, "I know. But tell me who the man was" he said, I shook my head, "I have no idea who he was. I tried too see his face but couldn't as it was too dark for me too see" I replied, "He did bite you though didn't he?" he asked, I nodded and pulled my long sleeve back revealing my wrist that had the bite scar.

"Turn's out your immune too this... the only person that would be able too change you. Would be your soul mate" he explained too me... I couldn't believe I was hearing this! "But never mine that soul mate thing. You are too go too Red Blood high school for a couple years and will be expected too live with us" he said.

I gulped and pulled at my caller that felt as if it tightened around my neck, stupid buttoned up shirt's! "I'm sorry Rose but, your parent's had gave there yes's and I do's too this and will not go back. There's No going back" he apologized, this was gonna be one hell of a couple years!

A/N: Hey guy's! Nicole and Angel here! we hope ya'll liked this chapter. Rose is going too be spending the rest of her teenage life with them ain't she? Ha... this is gonna be a fun book too write that's for sure...
