"Brea be careful okay."
"Okaaaay." She ran off to go on the swings on the playground.
We were at the park on this beautiful Saturday.

"Its fine." I grabbed my strawberry shortcake bar from him.
"So, are you gonna tell me more about your love life with Cartier?"
"Why do you want to know so bad?" I began chuckled.
It seems like he was so into it for some reason.
He got quiet for a minute so I just ate my ice cream.
"Maybe I wanna be in it."
I damn near chocked on my ice cream.
"Okay well, he sells drugs and I just didn't want that lifestyle to be honest. It was fast money but I would fear him not coming home or getting hurt."
He nodded his head understanding.
"But do you really wanna be in my love life or were you lying?"
"I was playing." He joked.
"Oh."
Figures.... Well that was a let down.

I wasn't joking.
I wanted to be in her love life but I was already causing trouble.
I told myself I couldn't fall in love again.
But my heart was thinking different.
Her whole mood changed once I said I was joking.
"I think I wanna go home." She stood up.
"But we haven't been here for a while." I stood up.
"I'm not feeling well. Come on brea!" She yelled out for her little sister.
"What? We're leaving?" She said out of breath.
"Yeah come on." She grabbed her hand walking away.
"I can't get a bye?" I said.
"Bye?" She said not even turning around.

I walked in the house.
"Dad." I walked in his office.
"Yes?"
"Yeah Cartier'a a drug dealer..."
"Excellent! Dave write that down." He told his partner.
"Thanks son." He patted me on my shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm gonna go out though."
"Where?"
"Shaleign's...." I began to walk away.
"Son."
I turned around.
"Don't fall for her."
I turned back around going to my car.
I parked in her driveway and got out. I knocked on the door and I had to wait about three minutes.
