Chp.5

I dropped my cookie getting gilmhers attention.
I ran into the bathroom and locked the door.
The image played over and over again. I was sitting in my own puddle of tears.
My head was resting on my knees.
Why would he do that!
Then a flashback came:
"No thats not how you promise now!"
Now:
I remembered our promise.
It just made everything worse.
I heard them walk in. "That was so much fun!" She squealed. God her voice is so high pitched!
I tried to stop crying but it made it worse because i made a loud noise not meaning to because i couldn't breathe. "Wheres m?" Jay asked
The tension immediately went from 1-100 really fast.
"M?!" Jay pounded on the door.
"GILMHER YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE MY BACK!" I yelled through the walls. It went silent. Oops..
The door swung open..
"Before you say anything i know how to pick locks!" He brought me into a hug but i pushed past him and ran outside.
Before made it to the pool *i usually stand infront of it*
He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back."Cross my heart and hope to die" i said looking looking up at Jayden He looked so confused. "I can't believe you don't remember that!" I whisper yelled at him.
"I am so sorry i don't remember everything!" He rolled his eyes and threw his hands up.
"Well then sit down and let me tell you!" I huffed then sat down almost missing the chair. He chuckled at how clumsy i am. I cant help but smile back, no matter what mood i am he always makes me smile.
I told him about the promise his face went from confused to relief.
"I remember now" he said looking down at the ground.
"Im sorry i shouldnt have let her kiss me..." he fiddled with his fingers.
"Its fine--" before i could finish lena walked out
"Come on babe" she tried to pull him away but he pulled back
Before he could say no i stood up.
"dont call him babe hes not yours he isnt dating you!" I snapped and gave her so much attitude
"Bestfriends doesnt mean dating get over yourself!" She yelled smiling
"That kiss was between me and him you have no right to be mad"
"Um excuse me yes i do!" I stood there beyond pissed off.
"THAT PROMISE WAS MADE WHEN YOU WERE 7!" She screamed in my face
"YEAH MAYBE IT WAS!! SO WHAT IT MEANS SOMETHING TO ME!" I kinda lowered my voice now gilly and jayden were staring at both of us.
"It was ten eleven years ago god grow up!" Before she fully finished i yelled
"THAT PROMISE MEANS SOMETHING TO ME BECAUSE I LOVE HIM! I ALWAYS HAVE!"
I stood there in shock i quickly ran to his room and closed the door.
Of all people why his?!
He opened the door and slammed it behind him
"Im sorry ja-" he planted his lips on mine, for about five seconds. His lips are so soft oh my lord!
" i love you to and i always have" he hugged me we just swayed back and forth.
Lena swung the door open, and wind hit us.
"Look the devils side chick just walked in" i said laughing.
She walked out and grabbed her stuff then left.
"GOOD JOB!" Gilly yelled smiling at us and standing at the door.
"Gilly this wasnt fake its real" i said smiling like crazy
"Wait i gotta go eat cookies and process this" he ran out and i heard the tv turn on.
"COOKIES?!" Jayden yelled looking at me and running out before i could blink.
