Talia " Mommy!!" I cried as I sat on my carpet floor poking at a scab on my knee
"Yes princess! What's wrong?!?!" She yelled running into my room
"My knee! It looks ugly" I whined pouting
"Baby girl...no it's not it's beautiful" she said kissing it
"Now get dressed...we're going across the street to the new neighbors house" she said standing up
"Am I gonna be bored" I pouted
"No...they have a son your age honey..." She said smiling
She is always so sweet and happy...I love when she's like this .
"Ok" I said smiling before jumping up
"I'll be downstairs if you need me Bear" she said blowing me a kiss before I walked over to my little dresser and pulled out my blue jeans and red long sleeve shirt.

After I got dressed I put on my all black sneakers and my black necklace my sister got me. After I finished I walked downstairs and saw my mom talking to someone on the phone.
"I'm ready mommy" I said as my hair covered my face
"Ok...ok thank you" she said before putting her phone away
" let me help you baby girl" she said walking over to me and putting my hair into a ponytail.
After she finished that she held my hand and we walked across the street to the neighbors house.

I rocked back and forth as my mom started to knock on the door.
The door swung open and there stood a Very pretty lady and a boy who was very tall compared to me.
"Hey Elizabeth " my mom said hugging that other lady which i know now is Elizabeth
"Hello Sani" she said and she had a little bit of an accent " and this must be little Talia Bree" she said kneeling down in front of me and smiling
"hey sweetie" she said smiling at me
"Hi" i said looking at her then looking behnd her to see that boy staring at me so i tilted my head and waved
"Oh thats Hayes...he's a bit shy with new people...why don't you guys go play" she said standing up revealing the little boy who was looking at me weird
I walked over to him and smiled
"Hi...i'm Talia" i said smiling up at him
"H...hi...i...i'm Hayes" he said looking down at me
"Hi Hayes...what do you wanna do" i said sticking my hands in my pockets and rocking back and forth
"Umm we can go up to my room and play...video games?" he said in more of a questioning tone
"Suree i love call of duty" i said smiling because i actually did enjoy playing it with my brothers
"Really?!?" he said with wide eyes
"Yeea...i play it all the time with my brothers when their home" i said shrugging
"Come on!" he said intertwining our hands and pulling me upstairs to his room
"HAYES BE CAREFUL!" i heard his mom yell as soon as we reached the top of the stairs
"I will mom"he yelled back closing his door
"Have you played C.O.D 4" he said looking up at me while turning on his game
"Yea" i said nodding sitting on the floor in front of his TV
"Here sit here" he said pulling two big chairs from the side of his room
"Wow!" i said sitting in it
"Here" he said handing me the controller
"Get ready to lose" he said poking my cheek
i see he has warmed up to me...
"I'm gonna beat you!" i said shaking my head
"Nope" he said shaking his head as well
"Lets see" i said as the game started.

"Dang it!" i said pouting when he won the last game
"Awe don't be sad...how bout you be my best est friend" Hayes said smiling wide
"Ok!" i said smiling
"Well hang out all day every day" he said jumping up
"Ok!" i said jumping up too
"Tali sweet heart" my mom said coming into Hayes room
"Yes mommy" i said turning around
"You ready to go?"she said smiling
"Can i stay over pleasee" i begged running over to her
"I don't know honey...where are you going to sleep" she said looking aroud
"Hayes can sleep on the air mattress and Talia can sleep on Hayes's bed.
"Ok...call me if you need anything baby girl" my mom said kissing my cheek
"Ok mommy...love you bye" i said hugging her
"Bye princess" she said walking out
"I'll go get the air mattress" Elizabeth said walking out the room

Its been hours and i still can't go to sleep for some reason
"Hayes" i whispered hoping he was up too
"Yea" he whispered back
"I can't sleep" i said looking over the bed at him
"Here" he said reaching his hand up for me to hold so i did
"Goodnight bestie"he said yawning
"Goodnight Bear" i said giggling and yawning
I laid there for a bit before i finally fell asleep.
