"Babyy" I heard Hayes say

I turned over and snuggled into the covers more ignoring him.

I woke up earlier to use the bathroom and didn't quite have a smooth trip...I crawled to the bathroom.

" what do you mean?" He asked as the bed dipped and his hands rubbed up my thigh to my ass

" You kinda Uhm...hmm how do I say this...fucked the shit out of me and now I'm sore...maybe" I said sarcastically

" Oh...sorry love" he said kissing my shoulder

"Have you taken a shower?...you stink so obviously not" he said making me sit up

"Fuck you!" I said glaring at him

"This is what got you in this situation in the first place baby..."he said slapping my ass

" Hayes that hurt!" I whined slapping his shoulder

"Ow!...baby that hurt!" He mocked me

"Kiss my ass you prick" I said pointing at him

"I'm a prick now?" He asked

"Mhmm" I hummed laying face first into the bed

" Am I still a prick?" He asked

"Yea Haye-" I stopped when I saw him on one knee with a ring in his hand

"Ha- Oh god...Hayes wha-" I stuttered on my words jumping up onto my knees

"Talia...when my divorce...is finalized...will you marry me?" He asked chuckling

I chuckled too covering my mouth.

"Hayes I-...I can't breath oh my God...really?" I asked as tears streamed down my face

" Yes Talia...baby....I knew I wanted to marry my bestfriend since we started dating the time...I love everything about you...you make me extremely happy...and you make me so happy...ever since I found out Dee cheated I me you've been the only one to make me really happy...since ever...I know we just got onto better...relationship terms...But I want to live my life forever...with you" he said making me cry more

That was fucking amazing...to me...

"So baby...will you marry me?" He asked

"Yes...yes oh my gosh...I love you"I cried before wiping my eyes

"Cmere"he said standing up

I crawled off the bed and wrapped my arms around him. I smiled like a little kid as I pulled away.

" my wife " he said slipping the ring on my finger

"Oh my god it's beautiful" I said admiring the ring

" I love you baby" he said cupping my cheek in his hand and kissing me

" I love you too" I said pulling him closer and smiling into his neck

"it looks like you can walk now" he said

I pulled away intertwining our hands and smiled

"Yea..." I said nodding

"Get dressed...we're going out" he said patting my butt

"Ok" I said admiring the ring as I walked into the bathroom

"Wait wait..hold onto this...I don't wanna lose it" i said handing him the ring

"Ok...id just buy you another one anyway" he said putting it in the box and putting it on the shelf

I turned back around and walked into the bathroom closing the door behind me.

I pulled on my jean jacket and slipped on my vans. I grabbed the ring and slipped it on and grabbed my phone.

"Babe!!!" Hayes yelled from downstairs

"Yes!!" I yelled back

" I'll be right back i have to go finalize the papers!!" He yelled

"Wait!" I yelled rushing downstairs

"What?"he asked holding my hip when I walked up to him

"I love you...ok...and I can't wait....to marry you"I said standing on my tippy toes and kissing him

"I love you too baby" he said smiling down at me

"Now go divorce the bitch before I kill her" I said patting his arm

" Ok" he said pecking my lips again

He grabbed his phone and walked out. After the door closed I walked into my kitchen and made a sandwich.

"BABY!!" Hayes yelled

"Hmm" I hummed walking out of the kitchen into the living room

" she's pregnant...has been for 2 months...and didn't tell me...it could be mine or Wesley's" he said making me freeze

"Wha-what" I stuttered dropping my phone

"She's going to get a DNA test right now..."

" I need to see this...if...just...lets go" I said leaning down and grabbing my phone

"O...ok" he said

I walked to the door and out to his car getting in. He got in soon after and he drove off.

" Benjamin Hayes Grier...is 99.9% the father of this babygirl" Dee said handing Hayes the paper.

I stayed behind crossing my arms looking down contemplating my life...

I know Hayes would be in his baby's life...but can I be strong enough to take care of somebody else's kid...I can't even think about children without thinking of my baby...that I...lost.

"Baby...I..." I looked up at Hayes and then looked at Wesley who were both looking at me.

I slid the ring off my finger and handing it to him.

"I'm sorry...I can't...it'll hurt...too much" I said in a cracked voice as tears streamed down my face before turning around and walking towards the door

" T...Talia...wait!" Hayes called but I ignored him crying as I walked out "Tal..." He said before the door closed

I walked past all the doctors and nurses...it all felt like slow motion...it felt like everything was going wrong...like my life had no meaning...like everything was just gonna end up hurting me...like what's the point...I can't love or it'll all end in flames...I can't do this anymore...I can't stay in California without getting my heart pulled out and stomped on...so I'm going back to North Carolina...and I'm not telling anyone...ill move back when I'm older and learn how to NOT let just anyone slide in and break my heart

I'm not jumping into another relationship...it's annoying...
