After confessing and receiving a rejection, Mayura's teacher gave her a task.
To give the papers to Shimon Ikaruga.

"Ah, sorry for being blunt about it!"my teacher said, who seems surprised by her own actions. "By the way, this are his papers."she added.
"Papers for what, ma'am?"I inquired.
"Some assignments and important things to be filled in."she answered in a serious tone.
"Who is this Shimon Ikaruga? And I don't want to sound rude, but why should I be the one to give these papers to him?"I asked, pointing at myself.
"It doesn't sound rude, don't worry!"she reassured. "Well, Shimon is a new student who enrolled days ago. He should be coming last April[1] however, due to some familiy issues, he wasn't able to attend."she answered the first question, and I nod my head, listening to her answers.
"And about why you should give those to him, I thought 'why not?'. Basically, you're the first person that came to mind."she said, spinning around the chair. "Besides, you're the class rep of our class, so why not be the first person to meet this new classmate?"she added, making me sigh.
"I see."was all I said. I accepted the papers, waiting for further instructions.
"Wait a second."she said, nearing herself with her table and start searching for something. I wonder what it is, though.
She distanced herself from the table and stand up, approaching me. She puts something on top of the papers that I'm holding.
"This is his address."the teacher explained, returning to her seat.
"Is that all?"I asked. She nods and gestures that I can go.
After getting out of the faculty room, I felt my phone vibrated from my pocket. Using my free hand, I grab it from the pocket and open it. It was a message from Chisaki.
I click the message, and read it in my mind.

Sorry, Mayura that I didn't walk home with you today! I just had some urgent things to do. Really, sorry!🙇😢

I sigh. I understand her situation, so I must bear with it.
Not realizing I bump into someone. I almost fell from my butt, but luckily I saved myself before that happens.
As soon as I recovered from the bump, I immediately bow down and apologized. However, she just ignore me. And so, I ignore her after that.
I exited the school grounds after the scene. I can't believe she's that rude--yes, it's a girl--that he didn't even bother looking at me.
I pouted at that girl's actions.
I didn't realize yet again, that I bump into someone. And this time, the impact is so strong--maybe he or she is in a hurry--that I fell on my butt.
