"Garnet, Wake up! We're going to be late if you don't!" I yell. He groans and stuggles to lift himself out of bed. I rush over to pull him up the rest of way, and in addition grabbing his wheelchair and pushing it to where he was. He smiles at me and reaches for the clothes on the seat. I run out of his room and get into my sister Galena's room. Who is currently walking like a mummy from a cartoon.
"Galena! Don't walk like that! Remember what happened last time?" I ask. She smiles weakly in my direction.
"I know Eevee, but I feel so useless...Not being able to see..."
"Yeah, well you at least have got your mind to yourself. I share it with two others." I joke.
Hurtful! I thought you liked us!
Yeah, I agree with Gen. It's not our fault we're stuck with you in your mind...
Gin, Gen I know. I guess it's just a little annoying. The fact that I've got your thoughts getting mixed up with me.
After I helped Galena get her...um...clothes on, I literally flew into the kitchen...
Only to slip on the floor.
"OW! DAMMIT THAT'S HURTS!"
Hell yeah it does!
Gen you don't have a physical body. You can't feel pain.
Actually we can.
How so, Gin? Please explain. Enlighten me on this lovely subject.
Ok, one; no sarcasm. two, whenever you fall, we get thrown around in your head.
...Oh. Well, now that makes alot more sense. Clears up the mystery of why I always have headaches when I fall...speaking of headache... I groan in pain, feeling the result of their movement. Garnet snickers, and I glare.
"What is it?"
"You tell us to be careful, yet you always fall. Kind of ironic, isn't it?" He smirks that damn smirk that I wanna rip off his face. We were interrupted be Amarante, Galena's seeing eye dog as she rushes into the kitchen, wanting to be fed. Galena follows soon after. I sigh and get breakfast started. Garnet would help, but since he's in a wheelchair he would just get in the way most of the time. Galena helps by keeping Amarante from jumping me. After 5 minutes of comfortable silence, breakfast is finished and I dish it out, giving Amarante some dog food.
"So, what are you doing after school today Garnet?" I ask. He starts blushing like crazy, and begins to stammer.
Oooooooohhhhhhhhhh! That means there's a girl involved!!! Gen sang in my head.
Interrogate him Eevee. NOW. Gin commanded. I started getting a maniacal grin on my face.
"So, Who's the lucky girl?" I ask slyly. Galena whips her head in our direction, and joins in.
"Yes, Garnet? Who is she? You know that I will get it out of you sooner or later, so why not tell me when I ask you? That way, I don't have to get violent."
"I-It's no-no one! Why w-would you t-think that!" Galens smirks, and he pales considerably.
"Because you're stammering dearest brother. And you only stammer when there is someone of the opposite sex involved. So, my brother dearest," She suddenly appears behind him, and that scares the crap out of me. How the hell did she get behind him? She can't even see!
Because, Galena has an inner that can see. Gin's voice rang around the smal confines also known as my skull.
Huh? Please explain.
I could hear Gin sigh. Oh, that bitch has the decency to sigh at me?!
Oh don't get annoyed with me!
Whatever. Galena has an inner voice of thought that's the complete opposite of her personality. So her inner is really shy. But since her inner can see, Galena allows her to take control of her long enough to get where she needs to be.
Oh. That makes more sense.
You're welcome.
"Garnet, who is the girl?" He freezes and I decide to intervene.
"Galena, that's enough. You've most likely scared the shit out of him. He's like, frozen solid." I poke him, and like a toy that had it's batteries replaced, he sprung back to life.
"Welcome back bro. We'll interrogate you after you get back." I leaned close to his ear,
"I expect all of the details." He nodded. The next second there's nothing left that would tell you that he sat there other than an empty plate. I roll my eyes, then stand up and clean the table. By the time I'm done, Galena and Garnet are already at the door, waiting for me to get my bag so we can leave.
"Alright, Let's go." I literally shove Garnet out the door. What, this apartment complex isn't handicapped, so it's what I have to do everyday. Alright, Time for school
I don't wanna go!
Gen we have no choice. Live with it.
B-but, school's not FUN! You sit in a chair all day and learn about things that don't matter!
We only do that in History. It's learning about a bunch of dead people, we're never going to meet them, so why are we learning about them? History's boring (1)
But GIN-
Alright you two! Stop bickering! You guys need to shut up, no body needs to know that I have two voices inside my head. They don't need to know that I'm crazier than they think I am.
