There was something about the window that wasn't right. Wherever it was the way it was shaped, what was out the front, or if I was just looking at it from a different angle. I wasn't quite sure.
But it had changed.
That was a certain.
I closed my book, placing into my lap and studied the outside world. It was snowing, and it was beautiful. I felt so cozy with my knee high socks, long sweater that I wore as a dress and my fluffy beanie. My cup of tea warmed my hands as I gently cupped it; taking a little sip and letting a sigh of contempt out.

I love winter.

I glanced down at my phone,
13:08 it read.

Almost time to start getting ready.

Tonight was the annual winter ball and it was an understatement to say I was excited. I already had my dress picked out, a beautiful black sparkly dress that hang right about my ankles and flowed out at my waist. My makeup was going to be natural,
Simple.
Unique.
Just how I liked it.

'This is going to be a dream' I thought to myself.

*ding* my phone buzzed, my friend Kylie had messaged me.

I laughed, quickly explaining that I don't want a man. To which she never replied.
