Chapter 8

When I get home I see Logan on the couch watching TV and he looks at me and smiles.

"Hey"he says and grabs the remote

"Hey"I say and I drop my bag and I sit on the couch. "Where's Raven?" I ask after a couple minutes.

"Oh she's staying the night at her friends"he says and takes his eyes off the TV to me and I look at him.

"Then why are you staying here don't you wanna leave?" I say and he slightly smile and look back at the TV.

"Well one I'm staying here cuz I got nothing to do and two cuz I have to watch you" he says and poke me in the shoulder and I huff.

"I am old enough to stay here alone"I say and I poke him back but in the chest and he chuckles.

"No because what if you set the house on fire"he says and pushes me a little and I roll my eyes.

"I don't think I'll ever do that"I say and he raises his eyebrows.

"Why do you want me to leave so bad....do you have a boy coming over or something" he grins raising an eyebrow.

"No I don't and I don't know I'm just saying" I say and I stand up to walk upstairs but he grabs my wrist hard and pulls me back down.

"Stay here"he says and looks in my eyes and I swear his eye color changed to dark blue but he got up to fast for me to completely see.

"I'll be right back"he says not turning around and he walks out of the room.

"Uh....OK" I say and I look at my wrist and I start to think.

his hand felt weird it was like a mixture of warm and cold.

"who?"someone asks and I turn my head to see Logan that had changed into some red Pajama pants and a white tee shirt and a couple movies in his hand.

"Uh no one" I say not knowing if I said that out loud, he smirks and goes to the TV and puts in a movie and walks back to the couch.

"Wanna go change so we can watch movies for the rest of the evening?" he asks siting down and look at me.

I didn't Evan say that I was gonna watch the movies with him but whatever.

"Uh sure"I answer and he smirks.

I get up and walk up stairs and I look in my rooms walk-in closet and I find some blue Pajama pants and a pink tang-top and I walk downstairs.

    When I walk downstairs I see him sitting there typing on his phone and licking his lips while he is looking down.

   I make my way down the stairs quietly but he still looks up like he has super hearing.

   "Hey you ready to watch this movie" he says and smiles then stands up and goes to the light to turn it off.

"Yeah"I say and I sit in the corner of the couch and he sits back down in the middle of the couch.

When he sits down he looks at me and leans over me and grabs the remote next to me and smiles and starts the movie.

"Damn it.....I forgot the blanket I'll go get it"he says and starts to get up but I stand up.

"No I'll get it"I say and I walk downstairs to the basement where they sleep and I hear a noise and I turn around.

"Don't go out there" a person whispers but I ignore it and while I walk upstairs with the blanket it speaks again.
