His icy glare pierced through me, his eyes black with anger. His family sat at the table watching us both as we stood there glaring at each other. His body trembled slightly in rage and I could see his cousin shift slightly in his chair worriedly. My glare turned cold and hard, he looked confused at the sudden change. Like he'd never seen this side of me, luckily for everyone else I keep this side of myself locked away. My voice was as cold as stone as I spoke the words in a low voice. "You think your sob story's bad you should hear mine."
Keegan had a hard start in life but like any person she put the past behind her and locks away that former self. Brody also had a hard start in life. When the two are brought together the couple learn that their past may have more in common than they think. And also their future.
This story would be quite dark just warning you all.
