Chapter 4

Arnav POV

I was feeling very happy that I was going to a night club with Alina.I made my way to her mansion and sat there chatting with her parents waiting for her to come down.

Seeing her my breath became heavy.I was mesmerised by how simply stunning she was looking in that black short dress,she looked different in a very beautiful way.I stood up and with a wide open eyes I checked her out,she came closer saying
"Hey mister,chaloo"
"Gorgeous" I said shamelessly what made her parents clear their throats "Euh...I am really sorry,I didn't mean that...euh let's go" I tried to cover whatever I said nervously,she nodded,we waved at them and left.

"So you think I am looking gorgeous ?" she questioned breaking the silent with an evil smirk on her face

"Me...no...when" I replied nervously "Should I turn the radio on?" I tried to change the topic,she glared at me "Fine.I said you look gorgeous because you do" I said

"Thank you.To be honnest you look HOT as well"

I checked myself out once again and smiled

"Someone is blushing" she whispered before I could defend myself she came closer,kissed my cheek and continued "And I love it" I looked at her confused and cleared my throat.

We reached the club.There were so many people dancing and shouting whereas others were making out,there was so much lights in different colors,and of course loud music,it wasn't my thing at all but being with Alina made me feel like I wanted to have fun and enjoy myself.I looked at her after checking out the club,to find her jumping and dancing freely closing her eyes,I automatically smiled to myself and kept watching her,then she opened her eyes and pulled me closer to her,my arms found their way to her waist,I felt different,I kept staring at her,and I literally felt like kissing her,and before I do that and ruin these moments "I will go bring you something to drink" she nodded and I ran away.

Was I about to kiss her?No no no,I am just confused.I have to focus,Alina is my best friend and nothing else,I must stop acting weird otherwise I am going to lose my friend forever. I thought to myself,ordered two beers and looked for Alina.Wait,who the hell is there with her?And why she is looking so happy talking to him? I thought to myself once again seeing Alina chatting to a guy who I can't see clearly.I mean I never knew she knew another guy,and why is he even talking to her?I felt weird and different,it was such a bad feeling,I just didn't want anyone else with her other than ME.Is that even normal?I think yes because after all I am her bestest friend only and no one can take my place.

"Alina"I shouted standing behind that guy

"Oh welcome back,what took you so long?" she asked

"Who is that?" I asked and before she could reply he faced me and he said "Hi I am..." we looked at each other,wait,I could recognize him,"Akash?Right" he smiled at me and then pulled me in a hug " Hey Arnav,how are you bro"

"Wait,how do you guys know each other" she asked wide opening her eyes

"It's a long story let's just not talk about it.Euh I will go get myself a beer and join you later.See you" he said and left to the bar

Me and Alina shared a look and then she took the beer and drunk the whole bottle without even stopping to take a breath

"Easy girl" I shouted

She looked at me and then at my bottle "Are you sure you want this?I guess it's not good for your health" I laughed so hard and then gave her the bottle,she fast drunk it up and yelled

"Let the party starts now"

She kept dancing and dancing and dancing I kept watching her,after all that's what I do best.She was such a pure soul,she knew how to laugh and enjoy her time,she inspires me to do so,she makes me wanna keep smiling and live my life to the fullest,she was a bundle of joy, My bundle of joy.
I was lost in my thoughts again, when Akash shook me "Hey there"

"Hey,so what's up?"

"I am still a work in progress...trying to be the best I can be after what happened"

"Great.I am sure you gonna make it"

"So you like that girl?Alina?"

"No.Not at all we are just best friends,nothing else.Why would you think so?"

"The way you are staring at her,and your reaction when you saw her talking to me,you sounded like a jealous boyfriend dude"

"Oh really,well maybe because she is very dear to me and I want to protect her" this came out more like a question

"Maybe.And maybe you should go get her now" he said pointing at her,she seemed lost,she was looking for someone,she was looking for me

"Right" I winked at him and headed to the stage

"My hero " she yelled "I was looking for you" she whispered as I carried her bridal style

"I know,whenever you need me just close your eyes and think of me.I will be there okay?"

"Alina?" I called her name as I didn't get any reply

She was already asleep.I took her home and drove to mine.I kept thinking about the whole night as I laid down on my bed and fell asleep.It was a tiring fun and beautiful night.
