"May-Leah!", a voice next to me proclaimed. I quickly identified the voice as my Mums, calling for me. She sounded unusually exited. I thought to myself: has it come? I sprinted down to the hall, where my mother and father were, both with looks of extreme excitement on their faces. My father was holding a letter in his hands. My suspicion was confermed. I went over to them, and asked: "Is it really my Hogwarts letter?"
"Yes! It is!" My farther smiled, passing the letter to me. I glanced over the letter, smiling as I realised that it was really here. I couldn't believe it!!A few days and a trip to diagon ally, I was standing on platform 9 and 3/4, holding my owl, Senqaa in her cadge. I hugged my parents, and headed onto the train. I looked for a free carriage, and found one. I waved goodbye, and the train set off. A few minutes into the journey, a girl came into the carriage and whispered :" Do you mind if I sit here? I can't find anywhere else, apart from that carriage with two sixth-Year students snogging."
I looked at the girl. She had short, blonde hair, cut nearly into a pixie style. Her eyes were silver, with a hint of gold.
"Of course. What's your name?"
"Argon Romans," she nervously replied, fiddling with her wand as she spoke.
"Well, hi Argon, I'm May-Leah Burton, pleased to meet you. So, what house are you hoping to get into?"
"Ravenclaw, like my Dad! I just hope I'm smart enough to get in. How about you?"
"I don't know. My mum went to a magic school in Japan, so she only tells me about there. Me and my dad had to persuade her for agers to let me go to hogwarts! He went here as well, and was a Hufflepuff. He fought in the battle of hogwarts!"
"Wow! Tell me more!"
It looked like I had found my first friend from school.So... Chapter one is done!! Sorry for ending it so fast, the next chapter will be better. Ps, if you're AMIE, please don't criticise my bad spelling! I know I can't spell!!
