It was finally Taehyung's birthday and Jungkook had woken up an hour earlier to meet his boyfriend at the park. Yoongi was back and recovered and everything went back to normal. "Hey, Kook. Where are you going?" Hoseok asked as he finished making his coffee. "I'm gonna go see Tae." Hoseok nodded and smiled. "What time should we go to Seokjin's?" Jungkook finished his breakfast and followed Hoseok into his shared room with Yoongi. "Maybe right now. I can keep him distracted for as long as I can until five." Hoseok nodded and kissed Jungkook's head. "Alright then. Good luck. And be back by five alright?" Jungkook nodded and dashed out the door. He was almost at the park when he heard whining.
He stopped his tracks and looked around trying to see what was whining. A puppy emerged from a bag with two more following. "Oh my God." The pups whined and started clawing at Jungkook's jeans. He took his phone out and called Taehyung as he grabbed the pups. "Tae! Guess what I just ran into." "What is it? It made you fifteen minutes late." "I found puppies! They are all Huskies! Tae they were abandoned right next to the supermarket in a bag. You know where I'm talking about right?" "Yup. I'm on my way. " He put his phone down and checked to make sure there weren't any more hiding in the bag. He picked the pups up and looked at what gender they were. Two were boys and one was a girl. He smiled at Taehyung who trotted down the street and looked at the pups. "Oh my god. These are so cute! Can we name one pigeon!" Jungkook shook his head and looked at Taehyung. "Uh no." Taehyung grabbed one and smiled at it. "Oh my god they are so cute. Let's take them home. " "Wait but isn't Seokjin Hyung allergic to dogs?" Taehyung groaned and frowned. "Yeah. So then you keep them. Let's go buy them some things." Jungkook grabbed his arm and stopped him. "I have no money and neither do you."
Taehyung smirked and pulled his wallet out. "I got a job Kookie. I'm working at a cafe with Jimin." "Oh. I didn't know that. " Taehyung pulled Jungkook over to the nearest pet shop and bought them collars, leashes, food, their beds, treats, and their pee pads. "That's enough for now," Jungkook said as he looked at all the money Taehyung had to pay. Jungkook sighed as they made their way to his house. Yoongi and Hoseok had already left so the house was all to the boys. They made their way to the room and put all the dog things away. They sat in the room talking and playing with the dogs until Jungkook's phone rang.
He hadn't noticed that it was already six and they were late to Taehyung's surprise party. He left the dogs in the room with water and food and his whole floor covered in doggy pads. They ran to Taehyungs house with Taehyung asking so many questions as to why they were rubbing to his house. "Tae shut up for a minute." He muttered as he made his way to the front of Taehyungs house. He stood in front of the door and smiled at Taehyung. "Happy birthday Tae." He leaned up and pressed a small kiss on his lips as he opened the door to his house. "Surprise!" Everyone yelled as Taehyung walked through the door. Taehyung smiled and everyone and hugged everyone as Jungkook walked up to his parents. They had tea mugs in their hands as one of Hoseok's was around his waist. "You were late because?"
Jungkook rubbed us neck as he looked down at the floor. "Umm. Well. Tae and I ran into some puppies.." Hoseok sighed. "You better not have taken them home." He didn't answer and started rubbing his neck. "You did didn't you?" Yoongi said as he looked at his son. "How many are they?" "Three.." He murmured. "Three!" Hoseok freaked out. Yoongi smiled and rubbed Hoseok's back. "What breed?" "Huskies. " Yoongi smiled and nodded. "Alright then. Hoseok will get used to it. " Hoseok looked at Jungkook and sighed. "You two are insane." Jungkook smiled and looked at Taehyung who was talking with his parents. He looked at Hoseok who patted his shoulder. Stress covering Jungkook's face as he thought about his gift. The one he had bought alone with the money he had been saving up.
"You'll be okay. I'm sure he'll love it." Yoongi said as he rubbed Jungkook's back. "What if he doesn't like it?" Yoongi shook his head and sighed. "Nonsense. He'll love anything you give him. He will like it I assure you." "W-what if it doesn't fit? I don't wanna give it to him anymore." He said as he thought of all the negative that could happen. "Relax. Here. I'll give you an idea." Hoseok said as he put his cup down. "Give it to him when you two are alone and give him the one you bought with Jimin now." He sighed and nodded. "O-okay." "Stop overreacting. You'll be fine." He nodded and decided to relax, not wanting to ruin the whole surprise for his boyfriend.
He looked at Taehyung and smiled at him as Taehyung made his way over to Jungkook. Jungkook got dragged away by Taehyung. "Thanks for doing this." He smiled at Jungkook as he was outside now looking at the stars that were appearing into the sky. He grabbed his hand and smiled as he looked at the shining moon. "I didn't need a party you know." Taehyung said as he looked at the moon. "Spending time with you would make me happy." Jungkook looked down and shrugged. "I know but your fifteen now. It's a big deal." Jungkook said as he shrugged. "I wanted to make it kinda special you know?" Jungkook said as he leaned his head on Taehyung's shoulder. "But I'm happy. I'm happy that I could be with you and everyone I love. Thanks Kookie. You're everything." Jungkook smiled and pulled the small ring out thinking that it was a perfect moment to just slip it on his pointer finger.
Taehyung looked at the gold band around his finger and gasped. "Oh my god Jungkook." "Happy birthday Tae-Tae." He smiled and looked at Taehyung. Taehyung looked at the gold band that had two letters on it being 'G' to represent the brand Gucci. "Jungkook these are expensive." He studied the ring and quickly fell in love with it as the stunning gold caught his attention and mixed perfectly with his skin.
