A letter arrived in the postbox. Cassandra checked it to see it was from Lewis. It read:
Dear Cassandra,
If your wondering, Liz told me your name. I wanted to meet up with you in the mega mart at the right corner of town just to check on you. I'll wait at the book section this afternoon. I understand if you're busy but if you have time that would be great. I'll be waiting,
Lewis
Wow, she thought. This was going to be the best afternoon of her life. At least that was what she thought. It's about a two hour bike ride to the mega mart so she could get their on time.
Looking around her, there were so many beautiful trees. Each one had an unique colour. This was because it was the Autumn season. A season of change. Unlike the trees, the flowers didn't change colour but they were beginning to die.
Finally Cassandra had got to the mega mart. "Let's see," she began,"so I need to go up the escalator past the cafe and into the book section. Alright!" So she took the escalator and walked strait ahead to the cafe. After that, she walked through the cafe and walked into the book section and found who she was looking for.
"Hey Cassandra. I'm Lewis." Lewis said. "I think I knew that." "You look well." "I am, thank you." "Good to hear." "Anyway! Why did you pick the book section?" "Oh. Well I have this old friend who I haven't seen in a long time." "But why books?" "Because my old friend loved books." "Cool." "Yeah, he was a genius." There was an awkward yet long silence.
Suddenly the silence was broken by a bang. All time had stopped around Lewis and Cassandra. A woman in black velvet appeared. Her face hidden by a mask. "No," Cassandra screamed, "not now!" The woman nodded. Lewis couldn't register what was happening. "Princess, you must." There was a muffled scream and then everything was moving again. The only thing odd was the fact that Cassandra was gone.
