Chapter 13 - Tears Hang In My Throat, I Lose A Breath

Once I'd shooed Keveridge away and gotten dressed (A/N: outfit to the side), I went back into my and Andy's room to find him with all of Fearless Vampire Killers. I had no idea where Drew, Shane and Luke had appeared from, but I wasn't complaining. "What's crack-a-lacking?" I asked as I sat myself on the floor next to Shane, who had a hyper-looking Drew in his lap, leaning myself against Andy's legs. Said brother and Luke were taking up the two-seater sofa, while Keveridge were sprawled across the loveseat opposite us.

"Not much, it's raining today so there isn't a lot to do." Laurence sighed. I craned my head past the Timids to look out of the window. I saw that it was, in fact, raining, and quite hard too. It had almost turned the snow into slush. Damn British weather.

"C'mon guys! It's four days till Christmas! Four days!" Drew exclaimed.

"That's great, Wooly, but how does it being December 21st give us something to do?" Luke asked, raising an eyebrow. Drew concentrated for a moment before shrugging and leaning back into Shane, who tightened his arms around the smaller male. Damn, those two were cute. I found myself subconsciously glancing over at Kier, the shitty hotel lighting illuminating his blood-red fringe and shining off of the labret piercing he was fiddling with. He only had a thin line of eyeliner on today, but it still made his hazel, almost yellow, eyes pop. He was laying across Laur, with his legs hanging off of one side from the knees and his head tilted slightly backwards as it rested on the arm of the chair. This was normal for them, like it was with me and Ashley, best friend privileges equal cuddles. His lips were curved into that half smile, half smirk expression he always seemed to wear, but suited him perfectly. He didn't try to join in on the conversation, just watched it, lips twitching further up if anything perked his interest or made him naturally smile. He was wearing black skinny jeans, with black Converse and a black plain t-shirt with another open grey shirt over it. I wasn't going to lie to myself, he looked hot. As always.

It then occurred to me that I was staring. Fuck. I looked down at my lap quickly, but when I chanced a look upwards, I saw Kier was now looking at me, his lips curved into a wicked grin, almost pointy teeth showing. I looked down again, desperate to hide the blush fighting to show on my cheeks. Thankfully, Andy broke the silence with a chuckle, and I craned my neck up at him, only to see he was now full-on laughing. In fact, he was laughing so hard that there were tears in his eyes. "What?" I giggled, furrowing my eyebrows in  confusion. He handed me his phone, which I saw had a picture up on it that Jinxx had sent him. It was of him, Ash, Jake and CC at the airport, looking thoroughly disturbed, which made me laugh as it was. I then looked at the caption that said 'We just got frisked because Ash forgot to take his belt off at customs, so he took it off and his jeans fell down. I'm pretty sure some people have pictures.' I burst out laughing at that, and soon was in the state Andy was in, crying with laughter.

"Urr... Why did someone just tweet me a picture of Ashley Purdy standing in an airport with his jeans around his ankles, looking like he just pissed himself?" Kier then asked, which sent me into another laughing fit. I heard a thump, to see Andy had actually rolled off of the sofa and onto the floor, still laughing, tears streaming down his face.
