I don't own anything! Except for the fanfic
Abby's P.O.V
I inhaled the London breeze, the smell of coffee and listening to Mobile by Avril Lavigne on the radio. Can't believe Avril is that famous in UK. Oh! Where are my manners?!?!
Hello, my name's Abigail. Abigail Williams. Pretty cliche right? No, I'm just teasing you. We just moved here in London yesterday. I came from the Philippines, it may be a small country but, like our catchphrase there:
"It's much more fun in the Philippines!"
Hehehe...
We moved here in London 'cause my grandpa died last week. He's British (obviously) so I got some English blood in my veins. When he died, his testament said that his house will pass onto our family. So now you know what brought us here. I kinda admit, London's quite peaceful, except for the buses and cars passing by with its horns honking. It's quite annoying. Since Philippines so, so far away from here, I got jetlagged plus homesickness. I missed my 3 best friends, the climate back home, the streetfood, me running around my grandma's neigborhood with my 4 cousins, the air, even though you smell smoke, playing with plastic balloons. Oh life! So, I kinda like to thank the radio station for playing Mobile. Thoughts drift through my head while listening through the lyrics.
Went back home again
This sucks gotta pack up and leave again
Say goodbye to all my friends
Can't say my when I'll be there again
It's time now to turn around
Turn my back on everything
(Turn my back on) everything...
After listening to the song, I immediately went out of our house and went to the nearest coffee shop.
I saw a Starbucks only a block away. Without realising what I'm doing, I ran fast as I can to Starbucks until I bumped into a certain person. He had messy blond-brown hair, about my age, has shades, a shirt that says EFF YOU, cream chinos and converse.
"Hey watch it!", he said rudely in a strong Irish accent.
"Hey! You don't need to be rude! What's wrong with you!?", I replied in my yelling tone.
"Whatever.", he ran as fast as he could but for me, he was kinda slow.
As I entered Starbucks, I ordered one Coffee Jelly and sat down. Who was that guy? And why was he rude to me? I didn't do anything wrong?! My anger was boiling up but drifted away when a girl announced my order.
"Coffee Jelly for Abigail!", she said in an annoying voice.
I drank it all the way home and found my parents, tapping their feet impatiently with a stern look.
"Where were you, young lady?", my dad asked in a worried tone.
"I was in a Starbucks It was only a block away.", I answered politely.
"You should have called or text us to where you're going! This is a big city and we just arrived here yesterday! You might have been lost!", my mom nagged.
"I'm really sorry mom & dad.I guess I just needed some fresh air after that flight.", I defended myself.
"Well, we're sorry too. Thank you for being honest. We'd better get some rest for tomorrow. I talked to our neighbors and they're visiting tomorrow.", my mom announced and kissed the top of my head while dad ruffled my black-brownish hair.
I got up to my room and it was perfect. It's wide, a window that shows a beautiful view of our street, light blue walls, a sturdy table, queen-sized bed, a TV, a dresser,, a cabinet and a shelf. Cozy.
I dragged my suitcases and started organizing my stuff, most importantly my posters and albums. I changed into my PJs. I will start putting my stuff in order first thing tomorrow. I drifted away into a warm, dreamless sleep.
Okay, that was short, that's all I can say and all that shizz...
Um, give the book a chance or so?
