Chapter 7

Niall's P.O.V

I really felt sorry for snapping at Abby at the food court a while ago. That's not really me back there. It was jealousy.

Damn me!

Why didn't you just shut up?!

Oh real mature Nialler!

"Um... sir? Are you alright?", a voice asked.

I went back to reality and I realized I kept walking and walking and thinking and I ended up being going to a jewelry store.

"Um... yeah, I'm alright.", I replied.

"Are you sure sir? You look awful.", he replied.

He's right! I look awful because my friend that I already have a crush on is now sad because of I snapped at her.

"Yeah. Actually, I did the wrong thing.", I said, fighting back my tears.

"Oh, is it love?", he asked.

Man! This guy is good. I looked at the man who's standing behind the glass stand. He look lie in his 30s, but not that old. Brown hair, hazel eyes and wearing his uniform. I read the name tag: Simon.

I sat down at a nearby chair and answered his question,"Um... let's just say that... I have a crush on this girl, who is my friend by the way. She's talking to this guy, I was so jealous because I wished that was me who was talking to her and make her laugh and smile, not him. She asked me what's wrong, I snapped at her. And when I looked back at her, she was crying. I don't really know what to do next."

He let out a sigh.

"Aye, jealousy. Happens every time in love theses days. Well, I don't mean to be bossy or telling you what to do but, here's my suggestion.", he said.

I moved my chair closer to him so I can hear better.

"If you really like this girl, then go for it! I mean, do whatever you can to steal her heart. I have a hunch that she likes you too. I'll bet you ten pounds for it."

I was surprised that he would bet Abby's feelings. "Alright, alright. I'll try my best."

As I'm walking out of the store, a feeling strike me.

"Um... I also came here for a reason.", I exclaimed.

"What is it lad?", he asked.

"I wanna see your best jewelries.", I said.

He nodded and went to the storage to find them. I checked my watch. It was quarter to 6 already. Time do flies when you're having fun.

Hehehe...

He went back with a bunch of boxes with the name of the shop carved on it. He putted them on the glass table.

"Here are one of our finest sir.", he said, pointing to every necklace, every ring and every bracelet.

I examined every one of them until one caught my eye.The pendant is yellow topaz and the chain is silver.

"I wanna buy this one.", I said to him, holding the necklace.

"Excellent choice sir.", he replied.

I gave him back the necklace and returned it to its box. I gave him the payment and he gave me the box. I said thank you and went out of the shop. I sat a nearby bench, having some fresh air. I need to apologize to Abby. AGAIN. This is gonna be hard.

Liam's P.O.V

As I went out of the Jack Wilis store, I almost forgot that I need to borrow A Walk To Remember for Danielle. When I walked into the library, I already spotted Abby in the fantasy section. She's reading The Magician's Nephew.

"I see you like The Chronicles Of Narnia series.", I said. Shejumped from the floor and almost dropped her book.

She looked at me and said,"Oh my Liam! You startled me. I thought you were..."

She looked back at her book.

"I thought you were somebody else."

"I'm really sorry Abby. I didn't mean to you know... startle you like that.", I apologized.

"It's alright Li, I didn't even heard your footsteps.", she said, standing up.

"Um... I'm gonna borrow A Walk To Remember. You wanna borrow something?", I asked.

"I didn't now you read love stories!", she yelled.

"Quiet Ms. Williams!", the librarian yelled.

"Sorry Mrs. Grundy!", she replied back.

"Um... actually Danielle is reading love stories. I'm just gonna borrow it for her. So, you wanna borrow something?"

Oh! Um... I actually have a library card already. Mrs. Grundy gave me when I came here."

"Okay. How long have you been here?"

"Possibly the whole afternoon", she said, counting her fingers.

"Did you scanned the whole library?"

"Uh yeah."

"Canyoupleasehelpmefindtheromancesection?", I asked all in one breath.

"Of course Liam. You don't need to say it all in one breath you know.", she said, while patting my back.

"Phew! Okay."

"I think I'm gonna borrow the whole series."

I chuckled. She took all of the books then we went searching for the romance section.

Zayn's P.O.V

I'm already done with my shopping so I went to find a nearby bench to rest for a while. Turns out the bench I found is Niall seating on it with his eyes closed. Either he's sleeping or thinking.

"Nialler? Ni? Wake up!!", I yelled in his left ear while gently shaking him.

After 40 shakes, (yes I've been counting), he finally opened his eyes.

"Huh? Oh Zayn! How long was I thinking?", he asked.

"Duinno actually. I should call the rest so we can go home.", I replied.

"Oh okay.", he went back to his thinking mood.

I dialled Harry's number first. After 2 rings, he finally picked it up.

"Yo Hazza! Come meet us at the bench near the jewelry store. We're going home.", I said to him.

"Sure. Who do you think who should drive?", he asked.

"Why?"

"Louis' already sleeping. He's currently at my back right now snoring VERY loudly. Good thing I'm the only one who heard it though."

"I'll do it."

"Wokay bye.", and he hunged up.

I dialled Liam's number next. After 5 rings, he picked it up.

"What Zayn?"

"It's already 6:30. They're gonna close the mall in 30 minutes. We need to go home right now."

"Okay, where are you guys?"

"We're at a nearby bench near the jewelry store."

"Okay, me and Abby were about to leave the library. Bye."

"Bye.", I hunged up and waited for them while me and Niall are listening to 1985 by Bowling For Soup.
