I don't like adults.
There are exceptions, but those are rare and I don't bother to try and find good adults. Well, I know there are good ones right under my nose, if I bothered to look.
I try, but adults are intimidating. More so than my peers. I highly doubt most of you can relate, but, eh. I don't even particularly like parents actually. They didn't do anything wrong, I assure you, just... I think adults are stupid. Well, actually let me rephrase that, they're stubborn. Close-minded. Think that has something to do with their beliefs being set in stone for at least a decade. Not saying that's a bad thing, if you stand by your morals through thick and thin then that proves that you can't be swayed easily and that you have the confidence to do everything with purpose. 'Course, that could also be a bad thing. Though, if you can think for yourself and understand what's right and wrong then you would have steered away from that and tried to improve yourself. Right? I honestly don't know, I'm a preteen. I consider myself a blind idiot, so what would I know?
And then I stare at adults for a second and realize, "Why are you these things that don't actually make any sense whatsoever? Aren't you supposed to be mature and 'wise'? At least to some extent?". But a good majority of the time it happens. From what I've seen, at least.
Now, absolutely sure I'm wrong about this. I hope I am. I really hope I am. Why? Well, I'm trying to give people the benefit of the doubt and not take things at face value. Besides, all human beings aren't that bad... right?
(P.S. I didn't write this in one go so, my train of thought was cut off, this would have been longer if I did.)
