millie woke up by the light coming through the window, she rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand. she was sitting on her bathtub, she wondered what was she doing there. she was dressed with her favourite black shorts and a white crop top and a green bomber jacket plus black boots that complemented her outfit.

she looked around, her bathroom was filthy as always, she didn't care tho, that's how she was and no one was going to change that.

she got out from the medium bathtub and eyed herself on the mirror, her hair was messy, but she had a pixie cut so it didn't seemed bad, anyways, again, she didn't gave a fuck about what people thought about her.

millie shook her head so her hair was messier now, she smiled herself on the mirror and started to walk out of her bathroom but she remembered something, she walked in again to the bathroom and opened one of her drawers, she took out her red lipstick and applied it carefully

"perfect" millie muttered herself quietly, she smiled again and got out of the bathroom

millie rushed herself down the stairs, she was going to leave the house, she approached the front door but someone called her out

"where the hell you think you going dressed like that?" david, millie's father said

millie rolled her eyes and turn around to see her father sitting on the living room couch eating chips

"to work and get money, two things you don't have" millie said placing a hand on her waist and looking at him lifting both of her eyebrows."well that's a point" david said turning off the tv using the remote.

"i gotta get going" millie said not wanting to waste her time with 'the most annoying dad in the world'.

"come here before 12 o'clock or im going to find you millie!" his dad screamed.

"you don't even know where i work shut up" millie said rolling her eyes and closed the door loudly

millie walked down the street and took the bus that left her like 2 blocks away from her work

she worked as a waitress on 'benny's cafe', she didn't liked her work but didn't got any other option

"hey benny" millie greeted her boss that was making some hamburgers on the kitchen.
"millie!" benny shouted and smiled, they got great chemistry, millie saw benny as her own uncle or even like the dad she wished she had

"do you mind working as cashier just for today? maddie's sick" benny said flipping the hamburger."yeah it's fine i guess" millie said, she didn't wanted to but she had because it was her job

she went to the cash machine and waited there 'till someone appear...

finn met millie about 2 years ago, they had great chemistry. millie loved and hated him, that was their friendship about.

"hey babe" said finn smiling, he was wearing a blue t - shirt and black jeans, also he had his black glasses attached to this head. "ew shut up" millie said laughing and rolling her eyes playfully.

"so, what are our plans for today?" finn asked placing his hand under his chin and staring at millie."well..." millie said and looked around thinking for a moment.

"im always the one who says what we are going to do, can't you think about something?" millie said and tilted her head to a side

"you are the smart one aren't you?" finn said laughing and raising his hands in the air.
"that's true, that's true.." millie said and focused on what they could do

"listen i can steal some beers from benny, he won't notice, and we can leave for today and then i could tell benny that i wasn't feeling right so i left" millie said whispering on finn's ear

"didn't i said you were smart before?" finn said amazed at millie, that was a pretty cool plan."yeah sure shut up lets do it" millie said smiling.

but little did millie know that over the years, finn had developed a huge crush on her, but he was afraid of telling her his feeling and getting rejected because he thought that he will always be only the 'best-annoying friend' for millie.
