The Rebel's Lament

"The King has ordered the increase of tax for about 20% starting next month. The tax which will be collected will be used to put up  new buildings for public education, the reconstruction of the public library and the railway from the Northern Coast to the Southern Coast." The Leader angrily turned off the television. "Damn that pig!" He yelled and threw the remote control. The thing broke into pieces. He paced the room angrily and ran his hands on his hair.

"Sir, our brothers has gained the territory." The man smiled when he broke the news to his Leader. The latter stop his pacing and let his back face the man. "Very good. Celebrate the victory." The leader ordered. "Lucio, send the food, wines, and girls to Ainsland. Have them celebrate the victory. Send my greetings to Commander Hughes." The man, Lucio, nodded his head in understanding. Lucio, a thirty-five year old, tanned skin fellow from Neruti tribe. He was supposed to rule his tribe when the King's soldiers killed his men. Children, women, men, even the elderlies were slaughtered. Lucio however, survive the attack by pure luck. He was at the falls doing this cleansing ritual for taking over the throne. His second-in-command, Berto has gone to his aide, bloody and gasping for much needed air. His body was shot by arrows and guns. Berto has lived long enough to break the news to his leader. Lucio, being unarmed, has swallowed his pride and ran. He arrived at Rizunno Brother's armed group. The biggest and strongest rebel group in the country. He informed the men guarding their posts and being a rebel group against the King's government, took his information to their second in command, Lexis.

Lexis Argullio, the former second in command died due to an attack when he was on his way to the Miktre Faction in the East. He was a proud warrior and only took 4 soldiers. All men died during an ambush. The report said that Lexis travel to Miktre Faction leaked to the kingsmen and was anticipating his arrival in the Kihyui junction where they were ambush. Lucio, took this as an opportunity to gain the leader's trust and begun his covert investigation among the men who knows about Argullio's travel plan. He terminated the moles he found and brought their heads to the former leader along with their confession. The former leader was agitated with the information and made Lucio do an investigation. The man pointed seven other moles in the group and was beheaded. The former leader then, made Lucio his second-in-command in the absence of Lexis. Ten years ago when he arrived at the rebel's group headquarters, served the former leader for two years and been serving as the current leader's second-in-command.

The current leader, Nicolas Rizunno, the youngest of the Rizunno Brothers, a forty-five year old business man, took over the leadership of the group after his older brothers died during the war with the King's army five years ago. His brother's, along with a hundred of their soldiers died. Nicolas, being the businessman, doesn't have the interest with the rebellion then, though he was the one supplying the group's financial needs. By changing his name as Micheal Norse, he was a renounced having the highest income per year. He owned different high end businesses in the capital, along with haciendas all around the world. He's met the King a couple of times during parties where businessmen meet each other for transactions or just plain partying. The armed group has been very keen to keep their leader's face known and only a couple of their soldiers knew what the leader and his right hand man looks.

The current leader, Nicolas and his right hand man, Lucio prepared to leave the headquarters. The person in charge, Marco Mundre wished the men a safe trip and assured them that everything in the HQ will be reported to them when they arrived in the capital.

Lucio, being​ the driver-bodyguard of the leader made his way to the garage and checked the car for their safety. Seeing it was safe, he drove the​ car to the front door and fetch Nicolas. The leader sat at the backseat and closed his eyes. Lucio drove the car to the capital. The two travelled the vast lands of Arconia. The native land of Huster tribe. The tribe which were the first slaughtered by the government.
