"Tae-Tae." Jimin looked down at Jeongguk, who was slumping next to him on the couch with his mouth in a pout.

"What about Tae-Tae, babe?" he asked, and Jeongguk huffed.

"Want Tae-Tae." Jimin looked around for the other, only finding Yoongi and Namjoon in the room.

"Want to go look for him?" Jimin asked, and Jeongguk lit up and nodded, hand grasping at Jimin's and tugging his arm. "Alright, alright." Jimin chuckled as Jeongguk led him around the dorm, looking in rooms, under beds, in closets, even in the cracks of walls.

"Tae-Tae?" Jeongguk asked the underside of a chair.

"I don't think he can fit under there, sweetheart," Jimin mused, and Jeongguk sat back up and stared at the floor.

"Want Tae-Tae," he hummed out, and Jimin pulled him up to his feet.

"Maybe he's in his room. Let's check there, hm?" Jeongguk whined but nodded, and Jimin led him off.

Except that he wasn't there. In fact, Taehyung was nowhere to be found, much to Jeongguk's and Jimin's dismay.

"I'm really sorry, babe, I guess he isn't here," Jimin said, though in the back of his mind, he wondered where the other had gone without telling him. He'd seen him in the dorm a few hours ago, and when he'd gotten back from playing with Jeongguk, he had apparently left.

"Yoongi-hyung," Jimin spoke, and Yoongi looked up to see Jeongguk bumbling towards him, and let the youngest sit in his lap with open arms. "Where'd Taehyung go?"

"Hey," Yoongi smiled at Jeongguk, then looked up to Jimin and opened his mouth in a hum. "Uh... I think he went to dance or something. Said he wouldn't be back until later." Jimin sighed and nodded. "Why?"

"Nothing, Jeongguk wants to play with him," Jimin said. "You mind filling in?" Yoongi nodded and ruffled Jeongguk's hair as he abandoned his phone and averted his attention to the Little.

Jimin attempted calling Taehyung, but found he didn't answer his phone. It was on, clearly, the rings went out, but he was sent to voicemail and he furrowed his brows. What in the hell could Taehyung be practicing so hard on to not answer?

At about eleven, Taehyung returned, opening and shutting the door as quietly as he could without waking anyone.

"Taehyung," Jimin said, and Taehyung shouted in response. "Why're you back so late?" It was a strange set of mood, with all the lights dimmed down and Jimin sitting under one bright lamp in a chair.

"Jimin, oh, my God," Taehyung breathed out. "You scared the hell out of me." He straightened up. "I was...out. In town."

"That's not what Yoongi said." Jimin stood up and walked towards Taehyung, turning on the main light. "Tae, where were you? I was kind of worried, and Jeongguk wouldn't stop asking for you." Taehyung blinked.

"Jeongguk was asking for me?" he repeated, and Jimin nodded.

"Yeah, he wouldn't stop complaining that you weren't here. It took me and Yoongi combined to get him to bed because he kept crying and saying he wanted you to put him to bed." Jimin crossed his arms. "Speaking of Jeongguk..." Taehyung gulped.

"W-What about-"

"You've been avoiding him, haven't you?" Jimin widened his eyes. "Wait, you- Tae, you've been purposefully avoiding him!"

"I have not-"

"You've found every chance you can to not be near him. Why is that?" Jimin raised his hands up and kept Taehyung from talking. "I don't want excuses."
