"Jade, come here, you!," the ivory-skinned girl chased her friend while dodging all the trees in progress. "Catch me if you can!," the tanned girl shouted, running away from the blonde girl.

The little brunette wanted to show her friend a place - where she always would go in her free time. It was a place in the middle of the woods. She thought, if she can trust the blonde, then she must show her the place. She has never showed it to someone before, so it's pretty special. That was the place where she could hide from the bullies; hide from everyone. She have her own privacy there. Well, it's not like her mother is noisy or something, but, she just needs her own little place. And that place is where she's running to right now.

"Jade! Please, slow down!," she yelled, trying to catch up with Jade. "C'mon, Perrie! It's not that far anymore!," Jade shouted, looking ahead. Perrie huffed and continued to run.

"Ugh, finally!," the blonde put her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. "Pez, it wasn't even 5 minutes running," Jade looked at the blonde with amusement in her eyes. "5 minutes? More like 1 hour," she said, before drinking from the bottle of water she had. "How can you run like that? Are you the child of Flash?," Perrie said, jokingly. "I wasn't even running," the brunette chuckled as she shook her head in mock. "Just, come. We're almost there". "Whyyy," Perrie whined as she got pulled by Jade. "Only a couple of steps, Perrie," she giggled. "Why are you like this?," Perrie asked and laughed. The older girl just shook her head and kept walking, while dragging her friend.

"And here we are," Jade said and looked at the beautiful waterfall. She didn't hear anything from the blonde, so, she turned her head and laughed. Perrie was sprawled on the dirt like a starfish, her chest going up and down as she tried catching her breath. "Are you alright?," Jade asked, kneeling at where the ivory-skinned girl was.

She zoned out as she looked at her face, admiring her friend's features; she didn't even know that Perrie was doing the same thing.

"Y-yeah, I-I'm alright," she answered, breaking their staring contest. She stood up (with a little bit of help) and looked at Jade, who was already looking at her. "That's good!," the tan-skinned girl said, smiling slightly.

"I like this place so much, so that's why I brought you here. It's so calming and I love the flow of the waterfall. Maybe we can hang out here sometime". Perrie giggled and nodded. "Well, we can hang out right now," she said. "That was the intention, Pez," she giggled, shaking her head as she walked away.

The blonde was staring into space as she was trying to have a room for the sound that the brunette made; she didn't want it to go away. She played the sound over and over again in her head. Finally breaking out of her thoughts, Perrie saw Jade sitting on a big rock near the lake. She walked up to her and took a seat.

"You know, it's nice to have a friend. I never had one before, and it's really nice to have friends for once," Jade sighed, putting her knees against her chest as she played with a leaf.

I will be more than a friend, the ivory-skinned girl thought.

"Are you kidding me? Who doesn't want to be your friend? You're funny, smart, fast and cute," Perrie said, looking shocked at the petite girl.
"Really? Am I?," Jade asked. She blushed and looked away.

She called me cute, she thought.

Perrie realised what she said, but didn't regret it.

And she really meant of what she said. How can someone not like Jade? She has the whole package. She is intelligent, funny, warm-hearted and good looking. Plus, she is really fast... or Perrie is just really slow.

But, people are just using their mouth instead of their eyes to look at something. They can't even see the piece of art that the blonde is admiring right now.
