"Hey, mum, can I go to a friend's house for a sleepover?," Jade asked her mother Norma. "Of course you can, Jeed. It's your first time either. I don't see why you can't," Norma said, smiling at her daughter who was eagerly waiting for an answer. "Really!?," she shouted, her face litting up. Seeing her mother nod, the brunette squealed while jumping up and down. "Yay! Thanks, mum," she kissed her mothers cheek. "I'm in my room," she said and went to her room.
The brunette opened the door of her room and took out a bag from under her bed. She started packing for tonight. After she was done, she heard her phone beeping. She looked at it and saw a message from her blue-eyed friend.
From: PerrieTheBlondie - Hey, Jadey. Are you done packing your bag?
The tan-skinned girl blushed at the nickname. She smiled and responded to it.
To: PerrieTheBlondie - Hey, Pez. Yeah, I'm done. Why though?
She went and sat on her bed as she waited for a response — which she got seconds later.
From: PerrieTheBlondie - Because I'm picking you up, silly.
To: PerrieTheBlondie - Oh, ok. Here is my address *inserts address*.
From: PerrieTheBlondie - Alright, see you in 10.
The Geordie locked her phone and fell on her bed. She looked at the ceiling and sighed happily. She was finally one step further to become a normal girl. There are times when she would think of how it would be if she was popular. Would it be better then? Having many friends who talks to you everyday. No bullies who rams you against a locker and got told to do their homework. Some times she asks herself: why would people bullie me? Is it because she was a loser, or because they've got nothing better to do? School would be much easier if there aren't any bullies. But life was never easy.
The tan-skinned girl heard the doorbell ringing and her face immediately lit up. She pushed all the thoughts away and ran downstair with her bag.
"Jeed, slow down or you will fall," Norma shouted from the living room as she heard her daughter's fast footsteps on the stairs. "I don't care!," Jade shouted back and ran to the door. Luckily, she didn't fall.
She opened the door, acting normal, like nothing has happened. Perrie, on the other hand, heard everything. She looked at Jade with an amused face.
"Hey," she giggled. "Hi," Jade breathed out, trying to catch her breath secretly, which she failed. "So, are you ready to party tonight?!," Perrie asked happily. "I was born ready!," the older Geordie said, finally catching her breath. "Good, 'cause it's about to get lit". "Haha, kay. Give me a second," the brunette walked back inside, to the living room. "MUM! I'M GOING TO LEAVE NOW. BYE-," she shouted, but quickly stopped when she saw her mother staring at her with an 'I will beat the shit out of you if you don't stop yelling' face. "Umm.. bye, mum," she whispered with an 'I'm sorry' face and kissed Norma's cheek as she hugged her. "Bye, petal. Take care of yourself and have fun..," she kissed her forehead and watched her daughter leave. "Hopefully not too much fun," she laughed slightly to herself.
"So, how long can you drive?," Jade asked once she was in the passenger seat, next to the blonde. "For a year now. I got this baby right after I got my driver's license," she answered, patting the dashboard as if it was an animal. Perrie turned the radio on and 'Most Girls' by Hailee Steinfeld boomed through the speakers. "Oh my god! This is my jam!," she smiled widely and sang the lyrics of the song while dancing in her seat.
