Teen Wolf

The six of them reappeared on a riverbank. The stream was dark and flowed gracefully. Mangroves grew all around, and the ground was soft. Alina was the first back on her feet, and did a head count. But only counted five.

"Where's Johnathan?!" She screamed.

Then, in the middle of the lake, a man with a shield burst out of the water. The shield floated, and he used it to paddle back on land. Once back on land, he put his shield back on.

"Oh my gods my HAIR IS RUINED" Johnathan yelled distraughtly.

Despite all of his clothes being wet, his hair was the only thing that mattered. His hair was now down instead of combed to the side.

"It's gonna be alright Johnathan..." Alina said trying to console him.

"Ugh...lets just find the demigods and get out of here."

By now, the other four were back on their feet.

"Alright you guys, I can feel their magic close by" Alina said.

"How can you do that?" John questioned

"I'm a daughter of Hecate, magic is my thing. Just wish I had my spellbook..."

She walked deeper into the swamp, and the rest followed. After five minutes of walking, Alina abruptly stopped.

"What's up?" Dylan asked.

"The magic trail ends here... Oh gods this isn't good." Alina replied.

She knelt down, closed her eyes, and touched the ground.

"What are you-" Johnathan tried to finish the sentence but Alina cut in.

"Shhh!"

After a few minutes of silence, Alina rose from her trance.

"So I was able to use the trail of magic they left to track them. I don't know why the trail stopped, but at least we know their exactly location."

"Which is?" Emily questioned.

"Epcot. In Orlando. About a four hour drive from here."

"Why in the name of Tartarus would they go there?!" Emily shouted.

"Maybe cause Disney is a magical place..." Dylan said softly

"Anyways, how are we gonna get there?" Luke asked.

"Well... We can drive...illegally. " Alina replied

Suddenly, everyone got tense. The reason? There was a gray wolf who seemed to come out of nowhere. It snarled at the group, and went into battle stance.

"Don't worry, you won't make it out of here alive anyway" A familiar voice said.

Natalie turned around, and saw a man come from behind a mangrove. Oh gods no, she thought. The man was James, who had his bronze sword at the ready. But, this didn't explain the wolf.

The whole group turned and faced James, disregarding the wolf. The six readied their weapons, and listened to James.

"You are right about the demigods being in Epcot. Our boss has plans for them. As for you guys, my instructions were to kill. And Natalie is here too! What a pleasant surprise."

"How does he know you?" Alina whispered to Natalie.

"Tell you later" she answered hastily.

"Aha! You demigods thought you had a chance? If only you could be alive to see what hell is yet to come." A voice said.

Everyone turned around, and saw the wolf was gone only to be replaced with a human. He was tall, and had fair skin. His clothes were tattered and looked like trash. His eyes were amber like a wolf, and his long black hair was a mess.

"I am Lycaon. Turned to wolf by Zeus. Who wants to be my next victim?"

Luke remembered the myth of Lycaon. He had fed Zeus human flesh, to test him. But when Zeus learned of this, he turned him into a wolf and killed all of his sons.

Suddenly, James charged for Natalie. Both of their bronze swords clashed. James swung again, but missed by a few inches. Natalie swung for his head, but he quickly blocked it with his sword. He then swung so fast, that when Natalie blocked, her sword flew out of her hand. James went to swing one last time, but interrupted when a blast of wind hit him. It caused him to drop his sword, and fall on his back. Natalie soon recovered, and brought her sword to his throat.

"I think I'm getting the hang of this staff" Dylan said while being pleased with himself.

"No matter. None of you are faster than a wolf!" Lycaon shouted like a lunatic.

"What in the name of Tartarus do you think this is? Teen wolf?" Luke said without thinking.

"I guess you will be the first one to go haha!" Lycaon hissed.

His body morphed back into a wolf. The process looked painful as his entire bone structure changed. Then, he lunged for Luke. Lycaon was wrong when he said nobody was faster than a wolf. Luke ducked, and Lycaon missed him by a few inches. But, when he landed, his fangs dug into Emily's ankle. Emily screamed in pain, and tried to stab Lycaon with her daggers. Lycaon quickly fleed and went to James' side. Emily was now on her knees, clutching her bleeding ankle. Then a free a few seconds, she collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

Lycaon transformed back into human, and helped James back up while Natalie kept the blade to his throat.

"What the gods did you do to her?!" Natalie lashed out.

"I gave her the same curse that binds me with a wolf's body. But, if her body rejects the curse, she will die. " Lycaon said calmly.

In a fit of rage, Natalie lashed her sword down. But instead of hitting James, the blade slashed Lycaon's chest. Lycaon fell to the ground, grasping his chest. James on the other hand, fled the seen.

"Don't think you've won yet demigod... Just wait till you see what he has planned..." Lycaon said, then died shortly after.

"Oh gods... What are we gonna do now?" Johnathan asked.

"We go to Epcot, find the demigods, and stop whoever "the boss" is." Alina answered.

"Wait. The four of you go there. Since Emily is in no shape to do anything, I'll stay with her and protect her. It's my fault that she got bitten anyway. We'll meet up with you guys once she's on her feet." Luke said. And was surprised because he never talks that much.

"No you can't do that. We need to-"

"Alina listen to me. We will only slow you down, and we are already behind schedule. Plus I know a place where we can stay for the time being. Don't worry."

"Fine...but if anything goes wrong call us. We should be at Orlando tonight. We can't risk getting caught, so we'll be at Epcot in the morning."

"Alright good luck guys."

"You too"

The five group hugged, then dispersed. Alina took Dylan, Johnathan, and Natalie deeper into the swamp until Luke couldn't see them anymore.

Luke picked Emily up, and carried her in his arms. She was light, which was great since Luke wasn't the strongest.

This is all my fault... But I'm not letting her die, Luke thought.
