Layla POV

Me & Jason got into it and we kinda broke up, but I'm not phased by it

"Good morning Mrs. Blaine!" I say waving next door

"Good morning!" She says smiling

I get a text from August saying he wants to meet up

"Yeah" I reply back

I look across the street and see a black truck across the street from my house and it drives away

"Who the fu-" I get my mail and go inside to my house destroyed

"WHAT THE FUCK!!"

Someone puts there hand over my mouth and hits me

August POV

I woke up, not knowing am I gonna die or not the struggle is real, I get out the bed to get ready to see Layla

-1 hour later-

Layla POV

I pull my hair over my black eye and put my hair in a ponytail, I never wear my hair like this, I hope August doesn't realize

"Ok Layla..You can do this"  I pull up to the mall and go to the food court to meet August

"Hey"

"Wassup" August says looking at me

"How are you?"

"I'm good, you?"

"Just fine"

24 minutes pass and me & August are getting along well and laughing together..Like the old days

"You look weird" August says looking at me "Different"

"Different hairstyle"

"Naww you look weird come here" August moves my hair

"No!" Moves my head

August POV

You can't miss it, Its there a big ass black eye

"Who did it!"

"Why are you so worried about it!"

"It was that nigga Jason huh!"
