I stopped at Keke house to surprise & see my new nephew Messiah

"OH MY GOD!" Keke yells running to me giving me a big hug

Keke grabs my arm and slowly runs upstairs

"Tada" She says in low voice

I loved Messiah, made me want a kid of my own

After spending some time at Keke place I went to see August to see how he's been doing

"What the hell" I see August door wide open but no August car, I went inside & seen the whole place damaged a

"AUGUST!"

Someone put there hand over my mouth

"So you know August?"

I start to breathe harder

"Well sweetie if you see August tell that nigga to meet us up if he know what's up!" The man says

He throws me down and they all start to beat me, I case remember shit I just remember waking up in a hospital

August POV

When I got to my place, I saw Layla car & my house door wide open, I ran inside and saw her laying there, she had blood & bruises everywhere, I took her to the hospital & waited

"Layla Anderson?" The dr days coming up

I never knew her last name was Anderson, Guess I never really listened or forgot

"She ok?"

"She is pretty bad she had cuts, stabbed in the shoulder & damage done to the skull

I was to pissed

"She went into surgery & is on life support"

"But will she be ok?" Keke says breaking her silence getting up

"Hard to tell"

"Can we see her?"

"Not now, but maybe tomorrow"

Keke leaves crying, I sit down and try to think this through, How I wished i coulda loved her better, giving us a future, but my mind is on getting the fools who did this
