"Class, we'll be doing a project in pairs. Don't bother talking to your friends because I will be pairing ya'll........... Lastly, Lee Daehwi and Park Y/N." the teacher said and we were tasked to research on our favourite singer.

It was so awkward and I could feel Mirae giving me glares...
"So.... What singer do you want to work on?" He asked me and whipped out his phone to start searching.
"What has become of us?" I blurted out.
"What do you mean?" He smiled. But I could tell it was fake...the pain in his eyes... Reflected not just his pain but mine as well.
"Nothing. Let's do NCT." I said and looked away at my books.
