Chapter#16"Kill you"

Barbara's POV:

I couldn't sleep, there was something wrong I could feel it, my body was feeling anxious so I got out of bed, my man was sleeping like crazy Aw he was tired,

I just love it when I call him my man! it still feels like a dream, I slowly climbed off the bed,

I admired myself in the mirror, I looked so gorgeous in my light blue nighty which I got from "Shay's Night dream", it's a new brand, my friend owns it so she gifted me a ton and also to my sisters,

I grabbed my robe and sneaked out of my bedroom, I went to Tina's room just to check if she was back,

she has been acting quite strange and secretive, hmm I smell trouble, the lights were on, I came in but she was nowhere to be seen, I walked in the room, smoothened her bedsheets, what can I say I like it when things are proper,

I heard the engine of a car being stopped, I  saw her getting out from the car, she was walking weakly,

I hurriedly closed the light and sat on the sofa I will surprise her, mostly scare her cause she did that to me a few days ago, I silently waited for my prey, she is your sis Barbara Oops...

the door opened, I was ready to attack but I stopped, when I saw her struggling to walk, I observed her and it hit me hard she was hurt, a tear passed my left eye, she was gripping her right hand,

Omg was she abused? I stood up and asked, my voice came out like an order, I scared her, she was so frightened, I knew she wasn't happy to see me, I moved closer,

"Barbara you are awake", she asked straightening herself a bit, I know what happens Tina you can't hide it anymore,

"Yes, I am perfectly awake",

"Barbara I can explain",

"Please do explain, I want to know everything before I tell father about that devil of a man", she burst out crying saying no no no! please no, she was hugging me almost clutching me for her life,

gripping me tightly, begging me, she looked me in the eyes, and I couldn't control my sadness I cried with her, I was hugging her caressing her head softly, I felt so guilty,

she was living in a hell and we were so blinded, how could I be so blind, how couldn't I hear her silent screams,

we were cocooned together in an embrace, I was her big sister and I left her unarmed to fight with the evils of the world,

I hushed her down it took hours to calm her down, her body shaking, her hiccups, they were sending shivers down my spine,

I closely looked at her beautiful face, it resembled a weak, helpless soul asking for help,

I was crying the whole time, her once glittering, sparkling eyes were now void of happiness,

I could only see terror and cruelty, I wanted to kill myself, what kind of a sister am I?

she was always there for me but I was never, her body was a little slender now, I could see the changes in her, she was looking pale,

I pulled her up and went to the washroom with her, she begged me not to look at her,

"I am your sister, Tina let me help you", I took off her dress and pushed her into the shower,

I gently rubbed her, her makeup came off, I was stunned to see the mess, to see the scars, my hand was over my mouth,

she had her back to me, she was silently crying, I saw scars, small ones big ones, hard ones mere ones,

I am a doctor my body felt like someone ripped my heart out with bare hands, she was saying again and again

"Its over, its over, don't look at me I am ugly, ugly",  her voice was loud at first but soon it started to fade...
I was standing there,

I hurriedly grabbed a towel and patted her skin lightly, I was crying as well, my face was covered in the forest of tears,

my baby sister, my love was suffering all this time, something hit me, when I turned her around, she had a huge red bruise on her face,

which she was trying to hide by her hair, I pushed her hair back, she didn't protest,

she let me do anything to her, she acted as a doll and I was playing with her, I kissed her forehead, her cheeks, I took care of her wounds,

I was curing the last bruise when she muttered,

"please don't tell Papa or anyone", we were sitting on her bed, it was 3:00 A.M,

I didn't say a word, she touched my face I looked into her empty eyes, I felt so guilty, I couldn't look into her eyes, they screamed,

selfish where were you when I needed you, where were you, you selfish woman,

"Please, Barbara you don't know what he will do",

"Then tell me what he will do", I snapped, I was on fire right now, I wanted vengeance, I wanted to kill him, strangle him for all the things he did to her, I wanted to burn him alive,

"He will do something bad",

"what?",

"bad",

"tell me, Tina",

"HE WILL KILL YOU DAMN IT, HE WILL KILL EVERYONE",

  she yelled in frustration, she was still in pain, she was holding her head, I sat beside her and touched her hand,

"but Tina we have to tell Papi",

"No, not now Barbara, I will tell him myself when I am ready, please give me some time", she was asking with pleading eyes,

"Fine, but hurry up Tina, I am giving you just a week nothing more, then I will tell Daddy myself", she nodded in agreement,

"He gifted you this necklace?",

"Yes",

"After that",

"Yes"

Animal!! I wanted to kill him what was he trying to prove, gifting her a necklace,

"What did you do then",

"Nothing", she lied down on the bed I covered her,

"this necklace felt like a leash Barbara around my neck, a rope to stop me from going away, to call me his",

"Don't worry love I got you",

"Promise",

"Promise".

Hey, guys so this is Barbara's POV, I know it's a deep and intense moment,

well these situations are happening in this world, and this is a Mafia story so you will see some abusive scenes or language, some gory scenes when they fight but yeah keep reading loves and don't hate me for that,
