I was sitting at a table, sipping my coffee, I saw Katrina surrounded by her friends, friends... enjoying a pleasant laugh,

I even saw the silent one what's his name, Ben, listening and answering to her, she was showing off her tattoo that she got after joining Kazuya's gang, boys were quite impressed by her, "yeah hah now we are invincible, we got an archetype babe on our side", Cross X joked,

She was tapping her flawless foot, Cross X grabbed her hourglass figure, "Let me kiss you one time", he said in a husky voice, they were laughing,

I heard Rex say, "down boy down, she is a friend", she was laughing in his arms, she placed a peck on his cheek, he fell to the ground, it was cute, I felt sad, they were having fun, and I was sitting all alone,

"We should be best friends", he said, she grabbed Rats hand teasingly, who smirked... Cross X pouted, I saw Kazuya coming with his men, everyone was surrounding her,

She was the center, I can never change that, she was right I guess I did lose but why do I care? I don't need anybody right? maybe it was fine until the dark truth dawned upon me,

"They are not my friends", I whispered,

"And why is that darling?", she was scanning my face,

"It's really lonely up here", she removed my hair strand from my face,

"Then why don't you light a fire again darling, it's not that hard, you just got to gather again the scattered woods", she advised,

"Let's just say I've not been very kind to people, it's not a piece of cake Aunt",

"Let me tell you one thing, Karly, better make amends darling, you live in a world where life changes at the speed of lightning, patch up, apologize, move on together, wake up before it's too late, or else you would regret it later that you could've saved it when you had time, time doesn't wait for anyone my child, enjoy while it lasts, grab it while you can, you never know when it vanishes", she smiled,

I half hugged her, she was shocked, I was too, "Thank you for the advice aunt",

I went to Kazuya, his people tensed, "Hi",

It was Cross X, "jerk", he smiled,

"What! You are the one who almost gave me a heart attack by saying thank you", looks like I needed a rude awakening, after all, I smiled, he hurriedly hid behind Jack and eyed me suspiciously, maybe I will tease him later.
