You've got to be kidding me. Hell No. This can't happen!!!!"But why, Sir"
"I took some loan for starting a new business but completely failed in it so now the debt is increasing day be day and I need to pay it soon. The only option left for me is to sell the cafè. I'm so sorry, Isla, I know you love to work here but I've no choice. I'm so very sorry. Hope you understand....."
"Oh sure Sir, I do understand. It's ok."
It's not."I know it's time for your monthly pay as well but as such I don't have any money right now to pay you. I promise as soon as I get enough money to pay you, I'll transfer it to your bank account."
"It's fine, Sir but can you please tell me around how much it will take for you to transfer the money."
"Ummm around 3-4 months."
"Ohk"
"I hope that's fine with you, Isla"
"Yes, Sir. It's completely fine."
"Thanks a lot for understanding me, Isla. I hope that you will find a new job soon. And remember you can always come to me if there is any problem."
"Thank you, Sir" And those were the last words I said before leaving his office.

I reached home around 7:00 as I had gone searching for some new jobs.
"Hey Isla, why are you so late today?" Noah greeted me as I reached the front pave of our house.
"Hey little man, sorry for coming late today. I had to go somewhere important. " I said this to Noah with a sad smile.
"It's ok, Isla. Why do you seem to be so sad today?"
"We'll talk about this later Noah. It's time for dinner and I don't know about you but I for sure am hungry as hell. So c'mon let us cook some food."
We both walked into our house. Noah went to complete his homework and I started preparing for the dinner.
All the while when I was preparing for dinner, the thought of telling Noah about my job was bugging me, I had no idea how he was going to react to this.
For sure, he's a kid but living with no parents and just a 20 year old has made him more sensible. He knows very well my job is important for our living.
I know for sure he would like to handle the situation as an adult and encourage me to find a new job but he can't do much as a kid.
I mean who, in his right mind, would offer a job to someone like me, a 22 year old with almost no education.
When the dinner was prepared, I walked out and called Noah in the dinning room.
We both started eating dinner. Noah tried making some conversation with me but my silence soon made him realize that something was terribly wrong. And that made him eat in silence as well.
The air was thick with tension.
Once I finished my dinner I decided that I should tell Noah about my job. No doubt he's a kid but he does deserve to know the reality of the situation. He has to know that I'll be coming home late and will be leaving earlier than I did before.
